Bellatrix had not seen Rodolphus in a few days and although they fought a lot, she really did love him and wanted to spend time with him. She dressed in a light blue, flowing sun dress with pale white strappy heels and a matching purse. Her hair was pulled up into a pony tail, her perfect curls spiraled down her back. She always tried to look her best, and where Rodolphus was concerned she tried even harder.
She walked into the Hog's Head; it was her favorite place to relax because so few people frequented it and when they did they generally kept to themselves, much like Bella. She walked to one of the many open tables, the one against the wall under a grubby mirror that she could look at herself in until Rodolphus arrived. Pulling out her chair she wiped it with a kerchief she kept in her purse, then sat down. Out of habit she had chosen the seat at the proper angle to face the door, so she could see who came and who went. She also wanted to be sure to catch Rodolphus' eye when he came in.

Rodolphus walked toward the HogsHead. He was dressed in a narrow and slim set of Robes of grey and black. He brickered constantly with Bellatrix, but her family was influental and she herself a dark vision of lovelyness. He pushed the door open, wiping his hands as he entered the dark pub. "Ah Bella, How are you dearest?" he said kissing her on her cheek and he sat down on the seat next to her, dusting it off with his wand, a simple spell.

She felt his kiss on her face even after his lips had left her and she smiled. Watching him as he sat, she placed her hands absentmindedly on the table and leaned toward him slightly. "I'm wonderful Dolphy, I've so many things to tell you... But I'm getting ahead of my manners." She shrunk a little and glanced at the table quickly, ashamed of herself for not being more respectful. "How are you, darling? Have you been keeping busy without me?"

Rodolphus winced at the use of 'the name' she used for him. He thought it wiser to let her continue to use it than bar her. He smiled smoothly and said " Ah yes, I have been busy, I just inherited a seat in the house, Father never really cared to speak freely about Politics, nothing you'd understand much of, but laws and by laws to help mold and shape our world and it's people." he said puffing up arrogantly. "What have you been up to? you've been rather busy of late." he said hinting how he noticed her little chats with Malfoy, when he was already entrenched with her sister.

She caught his wincing at her use of "Dolphy". He never liked the name and she had used it so often just to annoy him that it had become a habit. "That's wonderful darling! I'll have to write father immediately and tell him." She missed him enough to let his remark about her lack of political knowledge slide. "I have been busy. Lucius Malfoy got me a meeting with someone very important. Another sort of politician," she said slyly.

Rodolphus raised his brows and said "Really? Who is this man? Anyone of import?" Malfoy might be a snottish prig, but he knew men of power. "You've been such a brilliant girl haven't you?" he said smiling and wrinkling his nose at her, really she was adorable when she wanted to be so mature!

"I'm sure you've heard of him. They write about him almost daily now in the paper, what with all the commotion he and his supporters have been causing." She was now one of those supporters, and felt very strongly about all of the issues Voldemort stressed. She looked about the room and found today's issue of the Daily Prophet lying on an empty table next to an abandoned drink. She magicked the paper to her and turned to the front page, pointing to the main article. "That's him," she said pointing to the column that detailed the latest in a series of deaths related to You-Know-Who.

Rodolphus's eyes widened "Really Bella? You are one of his supporters?" he smiled and kissed her soundly "That's wonderful news! I had thought of joining myself, such is my political ambition, but you! you little ambitious mink you!" he was really over joyed that his future wife did have a brain, not a vapid and bubbling woman like many others he'd known.

She beamed at seeing his elation with her. "I could introduce you if you'd like. I'm positive he will adore you, though not nearly as much as I do." If he was pleased enough with her perhaps she would get something pretty and new from him. And the Dark Lord would no doubt be pleased with a new recruit.

"Oh me dear Bella, but of course!" he said tweaking her nose affectionately. He began to think of what he could do that would please her. He smiling thinking to himself, anything shiny. "So how does he behave? what does he expect?" he asking interestedly.

Bella had only been with him a hand full of times, but in those few times she had caught on enough. She got a dreamy look in her eye as she began to speak. "He's magnificent. Just being in the same room with him...I was so nervous when I first met him but he was very accommodating." Her cheeks felt warm, thinking of the Dark Wizard. "He's rather formal, although some of those people are just too uncultured to know better I suppose," she said, thinking of a few of the brooding members at the last meeting.

"ah so Formality! I am not surprised that such a man would appreciate respect and courtesy!" he said with an arrogant bluster. " what sort of people are around him now? what does he need of everyone? is there anything he requires?" he asked curiously, not at all jealous of the dreamy looks Bella had when she spoke of him, he was ever more interested.

"I've not spoken to a lot of the people who attended the meeting. But Lucius did warn me about some of them. Claudia is very pretty, and seems to be his favorite." She was jealous of Claudia, and it showed in her tone. "She's been set the task of gathering bodies," she said quietly. "Inferi. And there are a few rather shady looking characters, but I don't know much about them." A few of them were attractive, but Bella kept this thought to herself.
"He did make mention of a necklace he desired." She paused to better remember what it looked like. "It was a bulky looking thing, not at all my taste. Apparently it belonged to Salazar Slytherin. Although he had already assigned me another taste," she said smugly. "So the others have been sent to locate it."

" Really? What was your assignnemt love?" he asked for the first time totally paying attention to every word out of her mouth. She had a lovely mouth, but not something he was usually looking at what came out of it.

Bellatrix leaned low over the table so that when she spoke in her softest possible voice she would be close enough for him to hear. She trusted Rodolphus completely and didn't think twice before telling him the details of her assignment. He might be of some use to her. "I'm to take the Rothschild baby. Apparently both Isabella and Voltaire were once in his service, but betrayed him. He was none too pleased, his eyes were red with hatred as he spoke of them."

"I know. They make me ill." She leaned back in her seat, extending her slender legs so that her foot brushed against Rodolphus' leg. Smiling broadly at him, she nodded. "Of course. I'm going to need some sort of look out. And a way to leave the castle grounds without anyone realizing." She was told that Lucius was there if she needed any help, and though she trusted Lucius, she trusted Rodolphus more.

"Brilliant love, As it was I was having a carriage take us home, there's no point in taking a train intended for children." he said smiling. she was becoming noticeably brighter, or maybe he was starting to notice it. He didn't know, and for the moment, didn't really care.

"Brilliant." He was so thoughtful sometimes, it nearly made up for the fighting. She let her foot travel slowly up his leg and she bit her lip seductively. Respect was such a turn on, perhaps that was why she found herself attracted to the Dark Lord. From the very moment she met him he showed faith in her.
