Meeting (Remus/Chloe)

[David Harmon]

David headed on over to the Three Broomsticks after a long night. His neck had a small cramp in it, so he made his neck pop, only to get strange looks from a couple of witches. David just smiled and nodded to them and opened the door to the Three Broomsticks. He looked around and didn't see Chloe there yet, so he decided to take a seat at a table close to the back wall, and waited patiently as he could for her.

[Chloe Owen]

Chloe finally reached Hogsmeade with Remus with her. She came up to the Three Broomsticks and opened the door, holding the door open for Remus to come on in. Once they were in, she looked around and spotted David sitting at a table by himself. Chloe headed in the direction of the table and gave David a smile whenever she reached the table and took a seat. "Hey David."

[Remus Lupin]

Remus followed Chloe shyly and when they reached the table where David was sitting, he stood back a little and waited for Chloe to introduce him.

[Chloe Owen]

"And, by the way, this is Remus. He's a friend of mine. And Remus, this is David, the one I told you about earlier. Come on and take a seat," said Chloe.

[David Harmon]

David wasn't really expecting Chloe to anybody else, but he was going to be polite none the less. "Hey Chloe, and nice to meet you Remus," said David giving them a slight smile and a nod. "Things are going good for both of you I take it?"

[Remus Lupin]

Remus stepped forward. "Um, hi," he said. "Things are OK, I guess. Although, Greyback tried to bite a friend of mine last night. Chloe saved him and chased Greyback away." He wasn't sure what else to say.

[David Harmon]

"Ah I see," said David to Remus. "Saving little kids now are we?" he said giving a grin to Chloe. "Wait, you seem famailar," he said looking back at Remus. "You're the kid Greyback's been after. He's been talking about the kid is now with Chloe. Don't worry, I'm not going to take you and give you to him. I'm not like that. I've been trying to get away from Greyback, but he sort of doesn't even really realize that I'm even there, so I work that to my advantage. What do you two want to drink or eat? It's on me."

[Remus Lupin]

Remus frowned. "I was hoping he would have given up on me..." he said. "I told him I didn't want to go with him. And Chloe and Zander chased him away from me last time." He sat down across from David. "Um, could I just have a butterbeer?" Sighing, he looked first at Chloe, and then at David. "What does he want with me, anyway?

[David Harmon]

"Of course you can have a butterbeer," said David. "I really don't know what he wants with you, other than he is trying to raise a young army, you know, bite kids so that their parents will disown them, and then Greyback can step in and be a 'father' and a 'mother' to them. That's all I know," he said to Remus. "Well, you see, as long as you keep telling him no, he'll still come after you, but since you have Zander and Chloe, you're pretty much safe. Just make sure you don't go off alone. Have one of them with you. The last thing we need is to have Greyback raise a new army."

[Remus Lupin]

Remus was a little bit disturbed. "Raise a new army? Is he nuts? I don't want to join with him, and he can't make me. I'd rather have him kill me than join with him!" He looked shyly at Chloe. "I don't want to be trapped at the school, but I don't want to be in your way at all, either."

[Chloe Owen]

"Remus, if you were going to be in my way, don't you think I would have told you? I mean I even went to Dumbledore and talked to him about watching out for you," said Chloe. "So don't you think that I actually want to? I mean hey, I've gotta help you in some way, and trust me, you won't get in my way. I don't have anything else to do, except work in the Hot Panini during the day sometimes, and you know if you need anything, and I'm not around the school, you can always find me there." Chloe reached over and ruffled Remus' hair. "Don't worry, you're not in the way. Okay? And days you want to get out of the school, and I'm not there, you just send me an owl, and I'll come as soon as I get the letter."

[Remus Lupin]

Remus smiled. "OK," he said. "Thanks. I just... I wish Greyback would go away and leave us all alone. It helps a lot to know that I'm not the only one who is a... a..." he paused and whispered, "werewolf... who doesn't like him. I'm really glad I met you, Chloe. And you, too, David."

[David Harmon]

David nodded to Remus. "Well, there's a lot more of us too. Although I found out that I have to still play loyal to Greyback just for a few more days. He's planning an attack, but don't worry Remus. Karl, Skye, Zander, Pearl, myself, and maybe a few others will help stop Greyback on his attack," said David. "I dunno when he plans to attack, but as soon as I find out, I'll let you know."

[Remus Lupin]

Remus was concerned. "He's planning an attack? Like, with the rest of the pack?" He frowned. "He's probably going to do it on the full moon... which is coming up." He looked up at Chloe, and then at David. "If you guys are going to stop him, I want to help."

[David Harmon]

"You can help. I'm supposed to be a leader of half the pack on the attack on Hogsmeade," said David quietly. "I'll see what I can figure out on how to stop him. I'll make sure I can chose who I want to go with me, because if I get the right people, we can take the other half."

[Remus Lupin]

Remus nodded. "OK. I want to be with you when it happens. But someone is going to have to break me out of the Shrieking Shack. I can have Madam Pomfrey take me there early, but once I am inside, the only way out is for someone to let me out. Do... do you think you guys can help me?" He was a little nervous at the idea of being "free" during his transformation, but he had read that being in the presence of animals or werewolves with the same temperament would help him keep his mind.

[Chloe Owen]

"Well, I'll talk to Dumbledore and see if you can't just stay with me that night," said Chloe. "I'm sure Dumbledore wouldn't mind. You'll be with us, so I don't really see much harm in that."
