Looking for trouble

Claudia folded her arms in front of her. "What, some place more private, where you can more easily attempt to bite me again?" she said doubtfully.

[Alastor Domino]

"I promise not to bite you." Jake said. "I was thinking more private."

[Claudia Morley]

Claudia weighed her options. Despite her flirting, she didn't really care for this guy. She really didn't care for anyone but herself. If she went with him, she could probably get some good information out of him. But there was a good chance he'd try something she didn't really want. Not that this had ever stopped her before. The only thing she was worried about was the fact that he was a vampire. There was a good chance he could get out of control and bite her anyway... and she had no desire to be a bloodsucking creature of the night. If only she'd brought a stake with her...
but she did have a cross...

She pulled out the cross necklace and displayed it prominently. "OK," she said. "But no fangs."

She just hoped the information she got out of him was worth it...

"You have my word." Jake said getting up and putting his hand out for her.

[Claudia Morley]

Claudia stood up, but did not take his hand. "All right, I'll come with you. Do you mind telling me where we're going?" she asked, folding her arms over her chest and eying him suspiciously.

[Alastor Domino]

"Just to the woods. You could meet some of my friends." Jake said.

[Claudia Morley]

"Your... friends?" Claudia repeated suspiciously. "Like, as in vampire friends? So that you can all gang up on me and bite me? Yeah, I don't think so. I was thinking you meant someplace more... private. Like, as in, just the two of us."

[Alastor Domino]

"Somewhere more private would be better, so how about my apartment?" Jake asked. "I don't think I know of anywhere more private."

[Claudia Morley]

"All right," Claudia said, in a cocky voice. "We'll go to your place. Where exactly is your place? You don't sleep in a coffin, do you?" she added teasingly.

[Alastor Domino]

"I actually live in hogsmeade above Zonko's where my brother used to work." Jake said not seeing the joke. "Coffins are too cramped for me."
