Vincent had thought about picking up Emily for breakfast, but after the disturbing events of the Halloween Ball, he decided to let her sleep. So after he was sure his hair was perfect, he headed over to the Three Broomsticks for a little breakfast before he had to open the Hog's Head.

Emily had woken up early. Sure she had a long night last night, but she was all energetic when she had woken up. Emily quickly combed her hair, and made sure that nothing was sticking up to badly and then she washed her face, and all that good stuff. She decided to go to the Three Broomsticks, since they usual had a pretty good breakfast. She had no idea if Vincent was still asleep, and she wasn't going to wake him if he was, so she walked into the Three Broomsticks and saw Vincent. She smiled at him. "Morning."

Vincent smiled and unconsciously checked his hair. "Morning to you, too," he said. "I thought about waking you to see if you wanted to come, but after last night, I thought I'd let you sleep. But I'm glad you're here."

"Yeah, I wasn't sure if you were still asleep or not, so I wasn't going to bother you." said Emily tucking her hair behind her ears. "I woke up all energetic and everything, so I'm in a pretty good mood. And, I'm glad that you're here too." Emily had said the last part in her head and it didn't seem that corny, but when she put it in words, to her, it sounded a little corny, but she didn't really care. She flashed him a grin.

"Well, I'm glad you're in a good mood this morning. I am, too, now that you're here," he said. Man, did that sound cheesy or what? he thought to himself. "Anyway, uh, have a seat. We'll order breakfast."

Emily felt herself go hot in the face as she took a seat. "The pancakes and waffles are really good here." said Emily smiling and not really knowing what else to say at the moment. "I feel really special that I can put people in good moods." she said half laughing. She really wanted to just close her mouth and not saying anything else, seeing as she started to babble..........

He laughed. She was babbling, but he thought it was cute. "Well, I don't know about anyone else, but you've put me in a good mood." He picked up his menu. "Yeah, waffles sound good. Have you had them with the whipped peach butter? I've heard it's to die for."

"No I haven't had them like that before. I usually get waffles with peanut butter. They're really good. Cause it's like peanut butter, then butter, then syrup. It's really good, and I'm babbling." said Emily laughing. "Oh jeez, I haven't babbled in a really long time." she said smiling. "But anyway, yeah, I'll just take my normal. Waffles with peanut butter."

"Waffles with peanut butter? Now that sounds interesting!" he said, smiling. "Maybe I'll have to give that a try." He yawned and set down the menu. "Should we order now? I really could use some coffee. Last night was so exhausting. I wish we'd had a chance to dance last night..."

"Yeah, me too." said Emily smiling. "Um, the coffee here is not the best in the world. Madam Puddifoot has the best coffee. They have good orange juice here though."

"Oh, yeah... you're right. Coffee in the wizarding world is not usually very good, is it? I forget that sometimes. Muggle places have some of the best coffee around. But somehow most wizard places aren't as good. I wonder why... you'd think with magic we could brew the best coffee in the world." he shrugged. "Oh, well, the orange juice is probably better for me anyway..."

Lucie walked into the three broomsticks, she pushed her hair back, her eyes were red and swollen, she ordered a butterbeer and sat down at a table near Vincent and Emily, She drank a bit of her butterbeer and then put her head in her hands.

Emily laughed. "I'm sort of addicted to coffee, thanks to the muggle world." she said smiling. Emily noticed a girl that had walked in. She noticed that she had seen her last night. Must be one of the Wright girls she thought to herself. Emily got up and pulled a chair beside the girl. She noticed her eyes all puffy and everything else. "Hey." she said to the girl. "What's wrong?"

Vincent got up, too, and sat next to Lucie on the other side. "Lucie, right?" he said. "Are you OK? How is your sister?"

Lucie looked up 'Not good, she hasn't woke up yet, Laitia hasn't either, But Elle's temperature is getting higher and higher' She said 'I don't know what to do' She said.

Vincent shook his head. This was a terrible situation, and he couldn't help but feel that he should have prevented it from reaching this point. If only he'd been able to prove that Laitia was a Death Eater sooner... He sighed. "I'm really sorry, Lucie. I hope they both come through this OK. No matter what Laitia did, her death could really make things even worse. Your sister didn't deserve any of this..."

'Yeah, It was her who made her like this, Elle even told me it was her' Lucie said she put her head in her hands and sighed 'I hope both of them get better though, even if she did put a memory charm on her' She said 'I mean, she is her godmother, she's supposed to be taking care of her!' She said.

"Well, to be honest," Vincent said thoughtfully, "it's lucky that Laitia didn't just kill Elle to begin with. If Laitia really is a Death Eater--and no matter what, I still have no hard evidence that she is--she would have wanted to protect that information, no matter what. It would have been easier for her to kill Elle, but she didn't. That says something..."

'Yeah, i suppose it does' Lucie said, her mind clicked 'Wait... Is Elle gonna go on trial for this?' She asked

Vincent nodded grimly. "Probably," he said. "But given what she went through and the state of mind she was in before the incident, she may be able to get off with a temporary insanity plea. For now, we'll just see how she is, and wait until she recovers. I'd be willing to speak on her behalf."
