"Do you need constant reassurance from a woman? Can't you make up your own mind about it?" She was teasing him, but there was some truth to her words. They had only been speaking for a matter of minutes and already he had asked her at least three times for her approval. It was the most unattractive thing he could do.

"No. I was just giving you a chance to come up with an idea." Jake answered her. He knew she was teasing him, but it was a little frustrating. He pointed his wand at the father and turned him into a mouse.

At seeing the brown mouse scurry over to it's family of animals Bella's face lit up. She swished her wand and conjured her large black cat, Sinister, which landed on the table between her and Jake. "Hello Sinister, my precious," she said stroking the cat roughly. "I see a nasty little mouse for you to play with. Right over there." She directed the cat to the family and he immediately bounded over to it, chasing the mouse hungrily.
She looked back to Jake and smiled. "It's quite amusing toying with people this way, but I do have to leave you now." She stood and offered her hand. "I'm sure I will be seeing you again Jake."

Jake snickered and laughed as the cat chased the mouse. It was funny to cause people pain, especially families.
"I hope we will." Jake said turning to her when she said she had to leave. He took her hand and lightly kissed it again.

Bella felt a small rush of shivers as Jake kissed her hand, and she smiled. She headed off towards the fork in the road near the bank. She had to pick up a few things in Knockturn Alley before heading home. Sinister was having such a fun time chasing the pathetic mouse and running from the screaming horse faced witch that Bella thought she would just let him play for now. She could pick him up later before she returned home.

Jake smiled back to her as she turned to walked to Knockturn Alley. He faced the family again and laughed as the mother tried to gather her husband and children up as the cat chased the mouse.
