[Bellatrix Black]

Bellatrix ordered a single scoop of strawberry ice cream and took it with her outside to one of the available tables that cluttered the store front. She sat by herself and watched the people pass by. There was a lot of families out today, enjoying the summer holiday. It almost mad Bella sick to watch the parents fawn over their children so lovingly. Bella despised children and couldn't, for the life of her, figure out why anyone would willingly have them.

Jake walked down the streets of Diagon Alley and on his way to Knocturn Alley. As he passed Flourean's Ice Cream parlor, he saw a young woman, who looked to be almost out of hogwarts, eating ice cream and watching the families disgustedly. Interested, Jake strolled over to her.

"Hello. Enjoying the warm weather?" Jake asked her.

[Bellatrix Black]

Bella licked the ice cream as it began to melt under the powerful rays of the sun. She was busy spying on a family with two small children who were discussing the new robes they had purchased at Malkins across the way. She turned at the sound of a man addressing her. "No," she sneered. "I much prefer the cold." She eyed him, wondering where he had come from and why he had taken an interest in her now.

[Alastor Domino]

"Is that just because of your cold personality or because you prefer it?" Jake asked figuring out her personality right on the spot. "I'm Jake."

[Bellatrix Black]

"Both," she said with a little less malice than before. She didn't know him or need anything from him and didn't feel the need to play this one, but now she was intrigued. He was not put off by her demeanor, which so many men were when she let them see the true her. "Bellatrix," she said as she extended her hand in formal greeting and continued to lick at the ice cream.

Jake took her hand a lightly touched his lips to it, like any true gentleman would. Girls like Bellatrix were the ones Jake preferred, they were much like himself. "I'd have to agree with you, winter is much better than summer."

[Bellatrix Black]

Shepulled her hand back and let it rest on the table before her. "Did you come here to speak with me about the weather, Jake? It's such a dull, unimaginative topic. You might as well have told me I was eating ice cream for all the thought that went into your little pick up line."

[Alastor Domino]

"No, I saw you and thought you might like some company." Jake replied to her, giving a small smirk. He looked back at the families. They were too happy for his liking, maybe he should do something about that.

[Bellatrix Black]

She leaned forward across the table to get closer to his face. "And what makes you think I want your company?" She followed his gaze to the family she had been watched before his arrival. Annoyed that they were taking his attention away from her she pulled out her wand and levitated her half eater ice cream cone until it hovered over the youngest boy's head. She then flicked her wand, broke the spell, and watched in silent amusement as the boy began to cry at being covered with the sticky pink substance.

"You obviously weren't having much fun just watching the families and eating your ice cream." Jake said smirking more. He chuckled as her ice cream fell on the boy's head. "Good one."

[Bellatrix Black]

She sighed and leaned back in her chair, licking the few drop of melted ice cream off her fingers. "Well...It is rather boring out here today. I've got to amuse myself somehow." She flashed him a toothy smile and batted her lashes at him. She reached up and grabbed a strand of honey brown curls form her head and twirled it around her index finger.

Jake smiled back at her. He liked how she batted her eyelashes. It was quite cute. "We could amuse ourselves with these fools even more." He told her smirking again.

[Bellatrix Black]

She looked at him sideways and grinned. "Could we?" Her voice was sweet and seductive, she was daring him to do something. If he was going to insist on hanging around he would at least have to entertain her. She turned her attention back to the family as she continued to toy with her hair. She put one foot up on the chair next to hers and leaned back, awaiting the show.

"Yeah we could." Jake said taking out his wand and saying a spell, "Locomotor Mortis." He watched as the young boy's, who Bella put the ice cream on, legs locked and fell down.

[Bellatrix Black]

The child's parents were getting mad now, and the father began to look around the crowded market street for any suspects. The mother bent down and released the boy from Jake's spell and cleared away the ice cream. Wizards weren't as easy to play with as they knew what was going on most of the time, but Bellatrix still snickered as the little boy cried and his father's face reddened in anger. She kept her eyes on the scene that was now drawing attention from passersby. "You're so cruel," she said in a sarcastic manner to Jake. "Poor little brat..." She turned to face Jake and smiled broadly at him, her fingers still entwined in her hair.

"Was that a compliment?" Jake asked slyly smiling. He chuckled as the parents got angry and the child cried. He took his wand out again while the parents weren't looking and transfigured the boy into a pig. He quickly put his wand out of sight.

[Bellatrix Black]

"Perhaps," she replied to his sly smile, giving one of her own. Bella couldn't control herself and burst into fits of laughter at seeing the young child sprout hooves and a tail. Jake was quickly rising up the list of acceptable people to be around.

[Alastor Domino]

Jake laughed too, and laughed even more when he saw the looks on the parents' faces. It was priceless! "How was that?" He asked her, still chuckling.

[Bellatrix Black]

Bellatrix watched the little piglet squeal in terror. "That was entertaining," she admitted to him. "But you've left out the other little boy." Bella retrieved her wand from her cloak pocket and pointed it at the older boy, transforming him into a duck. "There," she said quietly as the father looked their way. "Now that hideous woman has a nice little batch of farm animals to go with her horse face."

"What should we do with the geezer?" Jake asked her grinning, motioning to the father. He chuckled a little.
