Voltaire went directly to the hospital wing to meet up with Isabella, Be wanted to their to help her with her leaving the hospital wing. He took out his notepad, He saw that he had to go into Hogsmead and order the things they didn't have a chance to get before his son's impromptu arrival.

Isabella was holding Conor, having just finished an early morning feeding. She was expecting him to drift off to sleep, but instead, he seemed to be full of energy. He kept reaching around with his little hands, trying to grab on to her hair. "No, Conor, that's mommy's hair," she said gently, trying to move her hair out of her face so he couldn't grab it. As Voltaire entered the room, she looked up and smiled. "Your son is very grabby," she said.

"Ah he truely is my son!" Voltaire said with a grin as he walked closer and held out his arms to take his boy. "Come to papa!" he felt so happy to be able to say that. Truely his wife and son healed something in him.

Isabella smiled as Voltaire held his son in his arms. "You are going to be such a good father," she told him. "He looks so comfortable in your arms." She couldn't believe it had finally come to this. They finally had their baby, and everything was perfect. And to think, there had been a time when she had been afraid they wouldn't be together when the baby came.

"He's perfect, I'll do whatever it takes to keep him safe, My family! Oh we'll have to go show Mum her new grandson! Woah, her FIRST grandson!" he said feeling the prickle of excitement his family brought him.

Isabella gave him a look. "Well, don't be expecting me to make lots of grandsons for her," she said. "I'm not against having one or two more children, but I'm not going to be a breeder or anything."

"Ah but you don't want to be my mate and have many litters of kits with me?" Asked Voltaire, knowing that Vulpine jokes of breeding would be ill received. "You know I don't plan to have you bare foot and pregnant all our married lives. But look Isa! he's so ...adorable!" he finished happily sitting down at the foot of her hospital bed.

Isabella smiled. "He is adorable. And I love him more than I ever could have thought possible. But I do not enjoy being pregnant, and labor wasn't exactly a walk in the park, either. It was worth it for him.... but I don't intend to do it many more times. And with the way my mood swings were, I doubt you really want that, either..."

"Aww" he said pouting "You're mood swings were...uh...a refreshing new way of engaging in conversation!" he said hoping to have throughly lied about that fact her mood swings were at best heart wrenching...and at their worst...

"No, I was horrible," Isabella said, shaking her head. "I was annoyed with myself, and I can't imagine what they did to you. We had such stupid arguments.... I don't want to be like that again. I love you, and I don't want to hurt you."

"No, I know you weren't saying those things or doing those things to hurt me... but I can't say it wasn't easy for me to be completely understanding. But I managed!" he said with a smile trying to avoid thinking about some of their worse squabbles."Besides, that's the easy part compared to being a container for the next generation isn't it?" he asked being flippant.

"Well, that's an interesting way of putting it," Isabella said with a smile. "Seriously, though, I'm sorry if I was tough to deal with. I'm not exactly sugar and spice on my best day, and with the hormones, I really was awful. But it wasn't my fault... you know I didn't want to hurt you, right?"

"of course I know that, It's the whole reason I was able to deal with everything you said and did, I knew you didn't mean any of it." he said smiling at her."besides It's not like I didn't know what was coming. I read that little book Poppy gave me...not that it was a HUGE consolation for most of the other doom laden information it had in it...baby books are evil...it's like they are preparing for you for you're child's death before it's born!" he said frowning.

"You should have seen the one she gave me!" Isabella said. "I was prepared for labor to be this awful, painful experience that would last for hours and hours and have me begging for death at the end! I'm not going to say it was a good-time experience, but it was much easier than I was expecting. Really, the long process of being pregnant and waiting for the baby to come was worse than the labor to me."

"Oh the one that went about saying about many muscles could or would tear? or the amount of insane conditions that could be brought on by delivery? I had to stop reading that one..." he said looking down at his son "Really! I couldn't believe that you had read it and not incinerated it upon finishing it!" he said looking at her disbelievingly.

"Yes, that's the one," Isabella said. "And believe me, I wanted to burn the thing. Honestly, why make an expectant mother worry about things that are unlikely to happen? I know I'm a strong woman, stronger than most women and even some of the men I know. And I am perfectly fine. I honestly can't wait to get out of this hospital bed and take our baby to our new home. I told you I had someone come out and fix up the cabin so it was big enough for the whole family, right?"

"Yes...No...Maybe...Damn I can't remember." he said frowning "Maybe it was before Natalie's...capture. That must of cause me to forget some things. " he said standing up with his baby boy who by now was looking at him a was clenching his little fists again and again.

"Well, it doesn't matter," Isabella said. "I might have forgotten to tell you about it. I was a little... preoccupied with other things. Anyway, I haven't even seen it yet, so I'm anxious to see what they've done with the place." She smiled over at little Conor. "He's awfully excited about something, isn't he?" she said. "I bet he wants to see his new home. Don't you?"

"Can I carry him about with me? I still have to place our order for his bedroom furniture, I'll do that by owl so I don't actually leave Hogwarts with him." he said smiling. "See i'm thinking ahead!" he said with a goofball grin.

"Well... OK," Isabella said. "I still need to get cleaned up and showered, and then pack up my things. That is, assuming you'll let me out of bed today," she added in a slightly annoyed tone.
