Athena felt like she was weighed down under something heavy. Every part of her ached and moving seemed difficult. She let out a low groan and slowly opened her eyes. The light in the room was bright, and everything was blurry. "Alastor?" she murmured weakly.

Alastor quickly turned and walked over to Athena. He had barely heard her mutter his name. "Are you okay?" Alastor asked her quietly, bending over her bed.

"I feel kinda like someone dropped a building on me," she whispered weakly. "And it still feels like it's on top of me. It... hurts to move." She groaned again and blinked up at him. "What... what happened? The last thing I remember is... we were in that old hotel and we... we were lost..."

"Just relax and lay there." He told her sitting down on the edge of her bed, careful not to hurt her. "You were put under the cruciatus (sp?) curse by the Death Eater and then you passed out. Sabrina was killed by Greta Weiss."

"Oh, no..." Athena gasped. "Oh, Alastor... that's awful. How? Why? What was she doing there?" She tried to move and was able to squeeze his hand. "I know what she meant to you... I'm so sorry. Is Wesley OK? And Natalie?"

"Shhh." Alastor said trying to keep himself from losing it again. He didn't want her to hurt herself more, also. "I don't know exactly why she was there, but Wesley and Natalie are, well not good." He stroked her hand. "Don't move around too much."

"Of course." Alastor said quietly. She seemed to be in a lot of pain. He moved over gently and laid down beside her, putting both arms around her letting her put her head on his chest, if she wanted. "How are you feeling besides the pain?"

She leaned against him and felt a little better. "It's not even really pain," she said softly. "It's just... I'm really stiff, and my arms and legs feel heavy. It's hard to move at all. Who put the Cruciatus on me? Was it the blonde woman?"

"Awful woman," Athena said bitterly. "And Weiss.... there aren't any words to describe how despicable she is. I can't believe she..." she trailed off and closed her eyes as Alastor tried to massage her stiff muscles.

Alastor kissed the top of her head. "Are your arms any better?" He asked after a couple of minutes of him massaging her arms.

"It helps a lot having you here," she said quietly. "I just... I can't help but wonder... what happens now? Craven's dead, but... where do we go from here? Is anyone safe anymore? We thought getting rid of Craven was so important... but he was nothing compared to what's left."

"I don't know. Wesley and I have been talking some about it. He and his group found a locket left to him by Olivia." Alastor explained to her. He put a little bit more pressure on her arms while he massaged her. "She left him a note telling him that he could find out its true power."
