Sabrina stared at her sister. She remembered the man. He'd given her the chills. The way he'd looked at Yuna and Lucie in their grief had made her feel sick inside. "The... the minister of magic?" she whispered. "Natty, are you sure? The minister of magic killed Mum?"

Natalie nodded tearfully. "Yes. And Daddy, too, I think. I can see that someone pushed him off the ledge and into the veil, but I can't see who it was. The vision is too dark." She threw her arms around Sabrina. "Please don't go after him. Please don't die... I don't want to be alone..."

Sabrina held her tight. "I'm not going anywhere," she said softly. "Just please... stop crying. It's going to be OK, Nat, I promise. Just relax, OK? You're going to make yourself sick crying like this."

But Natalie kept crying. She didn't say anything for a long time, just sobbed into Sabrina's shoulder. Slowly her sobbing faded, until at last she pulled away and looked at Sabrina sadly. "I love you, Bree," she whispered. Then she laid down and closed her eyes, still clinging to Sabrina with one hand.
