She sipped some more of the potion and looked at him. "The guilt has been eating me up inside since those kids died. Our fight made things worse and then the morning sickness... It seemed like one thing after another piled on top of me. Voltaire, you're right. I can't be a Death Eater anymore. I don't feel at all the way I once did. I don't have the hate anymore. You've filled me up with love." She sighed and sipped some more of the potion. She was beginning to feel a bit sleepy and she wanted to get it all out. "I needed to be sure that I was doing it for the right reasons... not just because you were doing it. But I realized today... my students were worried about me while I was sick. I have all these people that care about me... you, Rori, Alastor, Esme, Emily, my students... I'm just not used to that. But I don't want to risk any of their lives. But, Voltaire, I can't just leave, like you did. I need to help out. I'm too highly placed in the Death Eaters to just let that go, when I could gather valuable information. I want to be a double agent."

"Isabella i'm proud of you no matter what, but should you put yourself in that kind of danger? I don't want you getting hurt! you have another reason to not be in such a position! It will kill me to lose you and the baby! Do you really need to do this? what if he finds out? he's a very keen man! unlike me, i can't believe i didn't realize you were...with child" he said feeling ashamed that he really didn't know until he was told.

"I know it's dangerous," she said. "And I won't do it when my condition is more obvious.... but I really feel that I need to do this. I need to make up for the things I've done. I'm actually an expert at Occlumency. And you've seen how well I handle those people. I swear, they'll never suspect. The only thing I'll regret is that I'll probably have to meet that obnoxious Minster Craven again." She shuddered. "By the way, Voltaire, did you know that Emily killed Delilah? Emily's got control of the Army now, and since most of them hated Delilah, she's goin to try and turn most of the Army into Aurors. She wants us both to join; we'll be more protected..."

Voltaire sighed he knew that it was going to take a muggle crane to get her to change her mind...then again she would probably change it into a puppy.
"Well at least that blood sucking wench is dead! You think the minister looked at you like meat, i actually felt like meat with that woman!" he said shuddering "That would give me a reason for not being in death eater ring, you wouldn't have to protect me directly." he said seriously thinking on it.

"Yeah, she deserved what she got," Isabella said, finishing up her potion and setting the goblet on the table by the bed. "I think the Minister needs to be watched very closely. That man... he's trouble." She looked at Voltaire, smiling slightly. "That potion did the trick... I'm starting to feel better. So are you going to kiss me or what?"

Isabella kissed him back, and felt as if the life was flooding back into her again. She reached up and put her arms around his neck. "Let's never fight again," she whispered. "I swear, I almost died when you left me. You wouldn't believe how much firewhiskey I drank that day!" She put her hand on her stomach. "Poppy's pretty sure I didn't hurt the baby, since I'm not very far along yet, but I promise I'll give it up now..."

"Good! My god this is the luckiest kid on the planet!" he said placing a hand on her stomach. "You know i hate it when you drink anyway...It's a good thing then that i started to quit smoking too. Rori always hated it anyway, when she was six, she told me i smelled like bad dirt." he said laughing that the memory.

"I know you hate it," she said. "And believe me, after the monster hangover I had, I'm not too eager to do it again. And especially not now that I'm pregnant..." She laughed slightly. "I just can't believe this. I never even considered having children before..." She leaned up and kissed him.

Isabella smiled up at him sleepily. "I've missed you like crazy, too," she said. "I've hardly been able to stop crying all week. Voltaire, you mean so much to me... more than I ever thought possible. You are the most important person in the world to me." He was still cuddling her, and she held him close. "That's really great about you adopting Rori and Anna. Rori told me all about it a couple of days ago. I also told Rori about the baby.... I hope you don't mind that she knew before you did. It's just... she was there and I'd just found out... I had to tell someone."

Anna was walking by the hospitol wing when she heard pretty much the whole thing with Isabella.No wonder class was dismissed eraly.Anna thought stupidly."Congrats!"Anna exclmaid walkng in,for some odd odd reason.
