Voltaire was left alone in the hallway watching the woman he loved run away. He didn't know how his crying became so heavy, but he numbly walked back to the hospital wing and sat with Rori for a while. "I'll be with you for a while longer kid, then i hafta see your headmaster" he said before he broke down and cried on her bed sheets.

Rori opened her eyes slowly. Her head still hurt pretty badly. She turned her head slightly to see Voltaire crying. Rori sat up quickly ingoring her terrible headache and hugging him. "Don't cry Voltaire......" said Rori quietly.

"Rori!" Voltaire hugged her fiercely"thank the gods your awake!" he held her for a few moments more and then released her and asked "Are you ok? did that slime ball do anything to you?" there was almost a desperation in his voice.

"Yes, I'm okay, and no he didn't do anything to me. He said some spell, I have no idea what it was, but it narrowly missed me." said Rori. "Do you have anything for a headache?"

"I don't know if i should give you anything kiddo, i don't want to poison you! I'm not exactly trained in healing!" he said rubbing her head. "I..I had to break it off with Isa, Shh let me finish! It's complicated...but we have this...thing seperating us and well...I can't ...It's...I can't be the good person i know i am, If ... no..I can't even explaine it to you! it's simple but it's so complictated!" he said more tears coming from his eyes. "And Anna bear hasn't talked to me in sooo long and you were hurt and that underling of mine was a complete and total maggot!" Voltaire let out a frustrated sigh and put his head on the bed again. "I need two seconds ya know" he said into the sheets.

Rori just watched her cousin. She had no idea what to do to help him. "Look Voltaire, don't hurt yourself over this. Please." said Rori beginning to tear up. Rori was the kind of person that if someone close to her was crying she would cry to, or just try and make them laugh. Right now, Rori knew she shouldn't do that. "Please don't hurt yourself over this. I know it has to be hard, but we'll get through it, I promise. I'll be beside my dear cousin no matter what."

"thank you Rori, I have to get to adopting the both of you...I can't have you just out in the world can I?" He said Looking up from the sheets, "I haven't had a coffin nail in day, I'll have to keep that up if i'm taking you kids on, bloody waste of money it is anyway" he said rubbing his eyes. "I have to go talk with your head master...I have some things to report to him" he said with a dark determined look in his eyes.

Rori hugged Voltaire. "Thanks." she pulled away and noticed his eyes showed something she had never seen before. "Okay." said Rori getting up from her bed. "I gotta be going too." she said trying to steady herself.

"Oh no you don't!" he said picking her up and putting her back on the bed " Your staying right here until the nurse or who ever's in charge looks you over and give you a full bill of health! I will sit right here Until they get here OR Dumbledore gets here first! You are in no condition to go anywhere!" he said firmly. "Now i wish i had brought wanda with me, that way i could at least entertain you for the next TEN HOUR WAIT!" he said Mock Seriously at the end

Dumbledore swept into the hospital wing to check on his students. He was pleased to see that Rori was awake and trying to get out of bed. "No, Rori, you're not ready to get up yet," he said, smiling. "How are you doing this morning?" He looked at Voltaire. "You actually look a bit better than your cousin here... Is everything OK, Voltaire?"

Voltaire Opened his mouth but he let out a stuttered sigh "I'm just been upset...And i really need to talk to you" he said not directly looking at the headmasters eyes. "I have information about some of the professors here and some of their outside connections...think of this as me burning my bridges..." he said rubbing his face to get the tears off his face.

"Nothing at all! she is going to be here in the hospital wing and " he reached into his pants pocket and pulled out a small book 'the pocket guide to the 10 most important things you'll ever need to know' "Read that, while i talk to the headmaster!" he said pinching the book it expanded to twice it's width and length. "that oughta hold ya!" he said standing and turning still not looking directly at the headmaster.

"All right, then," Dumbledore said. "Rori, you just relax, and we'll be back in a bit. Voltaire, come to my office and we'll talk. And... it's OK to look me in the eye. I'm not going to bite," he added with a slight grin.

Rori sighed. She didn't like to be just laying there and it was really boring, but she did as her cousin and Dumbledore told her. Rori laid back and started to read the book Voltaire gave her. As she read the 10th most important thing, Make sure you wear a belt with big pants, if you don't then they will fall, Rori let out a giggle. "Voltaire, this book, is um, interesting." said Rori giggling.

"Fine." said Rori smiling. She hugged Anonimus. "For about 2 seconds, I thought I was a goner in Hogsmeade. Luckly for me, Voltaire was there. I would have really been sad if I never would have saw you again." she said sadly. "But, like I said Voltaire got there in time, and Dumbledore healed me, and I'm glad that I can see you again." she said smiling and letting him go.
