Dumbledore went over to Rori, feeling an ache in his heart. Two of his students were dead, two injured, and just a week before, another had stabbed a teacher and was now unconscious. He felt the worst for poor Lucie... she'd been through so much already. He knelt down before Rori and ran a check on her. "She's got a head injury," he said. "She might not regain consciousness for a while. I have another potion that will reduce the swelling in her brain, and I also want to give her something to stop any bleeding inside. Her leg, I can mend easily..." He tapped it with his wand and muttered an incantation. "Let me get the potions for her. Then I just want to make sure we keep her cool, in case she gets a fever. I'll give you a cloth and a basin for that, Voltaire." He smiled at the man, whom he remembered from his Hogwarts days. "She's going to be all right. She was very, very lucky." He walked into the back again.

Voltaire had always disliked the headmaster, he had the unbelievable nack for making him feel like a kid with his hand in the cookie jar. The moment of now wasn't any different, but he felt grateful.

Dumbledore came back a moment later with another potion. Instead of having Rori drink this one, however, he began to apply it to the bleeding cut on the back of her head. The potion seeped into the cut and disappeared, and he added another dose, and another, until half of the potion was gone. "There, that should reduce any swelling inside her head," he said. "I'll get the other potion for the bleeding. She's going to have to drink that one, can you help me get it down her throat when I come back?"

"Yes headmaster!" he said not looking at him in the eye but instead looking at Rori. He moved over to Rori's side and held her hand.

Dumbledore smiled slightly. He knew Voltaire was intimidated by him; he always had been. "Good, I'll be right back."

Isabella rushed into the Hospital Wing. She'd heard some of the children talking about an attack in Hogsmeade, and several dead students. When she got there, she was shocked to find Voltaire sitting there. She ran over to him. "Voltaire, what's happened? I heard the children say--" Her eyes widened as she realized Rori was lying there. "Rori?" she gasped. "Oh, Voltaire, is she going to be OK?"

Isabella kissed him softly. "I'm glad she's OK..." she whispered. She looked around the room, saw the two dead students, and Lucie lying nearby looking deathly pale and breathing heavily. "Jake and Delilah need to die. I can't believe they did this..."

Isabella looked around the room. "Shhhh, darling, please calm down. The children are scared enough..." She put her arms around him, trying to soothe him. "We'll talk about this later. Just concentrate on Rori right now. She needs you."

Dumbledore came back in, carrying another potion. "OK," he said. "We need to get her to drink all of this. Can you do that? Lift her head up very slightly."

Voltaire unwrapped himself from Isabella and gently lifted Rori's head and opened her mouth, as Dumbledore poured the potion into her mouth, he massaged her throat to get her to swallow it all.

Ryan was asleep on the chair beside Lucie, he woke up and looked at his watch, it was 7am ''Man'' He said to himself and wiped his face, he checked on Lucie, it looked like she had coughed only a little bit of blood which ment the potion was working, he saw a girl standing at the entrance, she looked like a first year and her face was distraught.

Voltaire saw Anna and walked over to her and whispered to her in a strained voice "She's ok Anna, she's resting. She'll wake up soon, I need you to be here with her until she does." he said hugging her. "I'm sorry about your other friends... I showed up because i heard her scream. Can ya do that for me Anna bear? stay with her ok?" he said releasing her and leading her to the chair he was using before. "Isa, come with me" he said seriously walking towards the door.

Isabella got up from the chair where she had been sitting all night. She was still a bit fuzzy from lack of sleep and secretly hoped Voltaire was going to take her to get some coffee. But something in his voice told her this was more serious than that. "OK, I'm coming," she said quietly, standing up and taking his hand. She gave Anna a tired, reassuring smile, before following him out of the room.
