Darn it, why isn't she coming out? Eva pressed her ear to the door, allowing her to hear Dolores say, "Alohomora!" Not good.Desperate times called for desperate measures. Bursting open the door, Eva locked on her target, pointing her wand at the Slytherin, and shouted, "Aguamenti!" Water shot out of her wand straight at the other girl. Myrtle heard Dolores shout a spell and so she floating out of her "S" bend to see the caught girl get in trouble. as she floating out of her stall she saw another girl enter the loo and she gasped, her wand was pointed at the other girl and she was shouting a spell. "Oh you'll get caught! caught! caught!" she squawked as she floated out of her stall above the girls and their spells. She felt so agitated, her calm space was being disrupted not by friends, but by girls with a mind for revenge! She felt her emotions getting keyed up higher with each time she screamed "caught" and with her emotions, so did the water rise in the bathrooms below her.

It all happened so fast. One second, Dolores was gazing triumphantly at the girl hiding in the stall, and the next, she was soaking wet! She barely had time to get a good look at the girl she'd caught when she became aware of the fact that someone else was now in the room. Someone who was shooting water at her.
Dolores sputtered, torn between the girl in the stall and the girl shooting water at her, but in the end, she made the wrong choice. She needed to see who was shooting water at her, so she turned around to see who else was there, only to get a faceful of water, blinding her.
"Stop---that---this---instant!" she yelled, aiming her wand blindly in the direction of the intruder.
Then, as if the situation wasn't bad enough, things got worse. The girl in the stall ran away. And Myrtle, upset by all that was going on, began to overflow the toilets, flooding the whole bathroom with water.
No longer caring about catching anyone, and anxious to escape the rapidly flooding bathroom, Dolores ran out of the room, screaming her frustration.

To her complete delight, the spell had worked, and extremely successfully at that. A furious Dolores had stormed past Eva, and the Ravenclaw considered tripping her, but restrained herself. But before she could stop herself, she said, "Oi, 'Lori, turn around a mo!" When she had got the girl's attention, Eva winked at her before disappearing into the rapidly filling bathroom. Luckily, Eva could see drains on the floor, probably installed after previous floodings by Myrtle, so she closed the door and muttered the locking spell. "Myrtle? You still in here?" ((Sorry to make you be in two places at once, Myrtle, but I wasn't quite ready for the night to be over...Angelina kinda skipped over my spot ))

((That's OK, actually I was considering having her post either modified or deleted because she skipped over Dolores too.))
Myrtle was wailing in despair, her fun was ruined and everything had degraded to a regular fight against Slytherin. It wasn't fair! She wanted to have fun too, if anything she was probably better at sneaking around the school because she was dead! Myrtle let out a garbled sob as if she actually had tears, but she didn't, and ended it with a miserable hum. She sank down to the floor of the bathroom and saw the other troublemaker was still in her room, probably enjoying her misery she thought bitterly.
"What do you want troublemaker? You've cut short all my fun!" she said with a ghostly stamp of her foot, which would of made both a splash and looked really childish had she been alive. If Death had done anything for Myrtle, is that she was quick to voice her opinion on the situations around her.

Dolores was running down the hall, dripping wet from head to toe. This evening had not turned out at all the way she had hoped. Here it seemed that half the school was up and out of bed this evening, and all she managed to do was get soaked from the spell and Myrtle's temper tantrum. She'd been so close to catching the stupid girl in the stall, and instead the girl managed to get away. It wasn't fair! Rule breakers shouldn't be allowed to get away with such behavior!
Suddenly she heard a voice, the same voice that had called her "Lori" earlier, calling her name again. She spun around in anger, and caught just a glimpse of the girl's face before she disappeared into Moaning Myrtle's bathroom.
"You're going to pay for this!" she shouted at the door. Pulling out her wand, she did a quick drying spell, then marched off in search of Mr. Filch.

Eva knew that she should probably just go back to her room; Dolores would surely be on her way to tattle on her now. But she wanted to make sure to talk to Myrtle. This bathroom, as long as Myrtle didn't dislike the person using it, would be a perfect spot to do anything that you needed to do secretly.
"I'm terribly sorry. I came back in because--well, are you okay?"

The anger and despair that had been bubbling in her being suddenly stopped, the water had stopped flooding out of the faucets and loos. "I'm fine" she said a bit numbly, as the water began to drain away from the door and down the grate in the floor. she chewed over in her head on what to say next, she wasn't usually met with concern. "The other girl is going to bring Flich, you'll get caught." she said quietly repeating her earlier screams."You should go like the other girl did." she said as she made her way to her favorite stall as the bulk of the water had finished draining leaving only the odd puddle showing an uneven floor.

Eva hesitated. She had Myrtle on her good side now, she knew. Maybe she should leave now before the ghost girl changed her mind. But the Ravenclaw chose a different tact.
"We haven't officially met, have we? I'm Evalyn Chambers." Eva wasn't entirely sure if she was staying to be nice, or for her own ends, but she was hoping it was for the former. Sometimes even she couldn't read her own motives.
She just hoped Filch wouldn't come any time soon.
