"Will she be alright Zander?" asked Pearl, as they appeared on Hogwarts grounds "Was she reacting to the wounds badly?" she wrapped her arms around Zander's strong arm, Her leg still hadn't been tended to so her leg was stiff and achy.

He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "She's hurt badly, and she's weak from loss of blood. I think some kind of infection has set in, because she was feverish when I left. But Madam Pomfrey is pretty sure she can help her, so let's just hope..." He walked toward the castle, allowing her to lean on him as he walked. "You should have that leg checked out, too," he said.

"Maybe so, but I still think Madam Pomfrey should have a look at it. In fact, I think she should look at everyone. I know I'm OK, and I don't think Remus got hurt, but everyone else should be checked over."

"He was very good during this battle...Hopefully it's the last this pack will have to face. Most of our number made it out alive...Greyback is down to maybe Six members..." Said Pearl trailing off her thoughts before they could delve any further into what would await Greyback now.

Zander sighed. "I hope this is the last one, too, but I'm not so sure it is. Greyback is going to want to regroup after this... and I wouldn't be surprised if he started making some new recruits to replace the ones he's lost." He stopped in the middle of the grass and turned to face her, putting his hands on her shoulders. "Pearl... you were magnificent last night. You were so brave and strong... I was really proud of you. I still am." He touched her cheek and leaned in for a kiss.

"Thank you Zander." Said Pearl a little sadly but leaned into to his kiss. She wrapped her arms about his neck and relived a little bit of the pressure she had on her injured leg to really enjoy his kisses.

Zander pulled her closer, and even lifted her in the air as he kissed her deeply. It was extremely difficult to pull away, but this was hardly the place for this sort of behavior. He pulled away and looked at her breathlessly. "Pearl... when... when we're sure that everything is OK and that Skye's going to be all right... I think maybe we should go back to our place. I think... maybe it's time... I mean, if you think you're ready..."

"You know...If i didn't already know that I love you, I'd become confused!" Said Pearl flushing crimson. "Hopefully Skye makes a quick recovery. the sooner the better." said Pearl happily twining her fingers with Zander's.

"I love you, too, Pearl. Very much. I don't even know when it happened, but... I just know that this is right. I feel like somehow... we were meant to be together. Does that sound stupid?" He laughed slightly. "I hope she'll get well soon. She was taught by you, so hopefully she's got some inner strength to help her pull through. Come on... we should hurry up and get back to her." He took her hand and walked toward the castle.

Chloe grabbed Remus' hand. "I'll be right back. Ready Remus?" Before he could respond, she apparated with a pop and took Remus to Hogwarts. "I'll be back in a few," she told him and apparated back to Diagon Alley. "Karl? Ready to go to Hogwarts?" Chloe asked.

Remus waited until Chloe came back with Karl. He was relieved to be back at the school, and he felt better knowing that Skye would be taken care of by Madam Pomfrey. She had always been understanding of Remus's little "problem." She could help Skye, he was sure of it.

Karl waited until Chloe came back to take him where Skye was. Zander had called it "Appearating," or something like that. He didn't really like it much. It felt weird. But if it was the quickest way to get to Skye, he was OK with it. When they appeared again, they were on a path right in front of a long stretch of bright green grass, with the forest on one side of it. He liked it. "This is nice," he told Chloe. "Are we gonna find Skye here? Is she in the woods?" He knew how Skye liked to be in the forest.

Dragos waited for Chloe to return and take him back to the school. He felt kind of like a burden and thought about maybe looking into learning how to apparate. But he figured that he'd have to be good with magic and the whole thing. And that was definitely one of his weak points.

David tugged on his clothes and stood up. He nodded at Zander's orders and walked over to Dragos. "Let's get to Hogwarts then. Ready?"

Chloe found herself sort of staring at Karl for a few more seconds than normal. She shook her head for two reasons, to get thoughts out of her head, and in response to his question. "No, she's not in the woods, she's going to be in the school in the hospital wing. Come on Karl. Remus is probably already there, so let's go."

Karl felt his face get warm when Chloe was staring at him, but he quickly shook it off. "Oh, OK," he said. "I'll follow you there." He felt a little stupid, but she didn't seem to mind. He liked that. He had to wipe the smile from his face as he walked toward the big building where Skye was.

David apparated out of Diagon Alley with Dragos and appeared on the edge of Hogwarts grounds. "OK, follow me," he said, walking toward the castle.

Dragos followed close behind David, up to the castle, looking around at all of the new sights Hogwarts's grounds had to offer since he had been there. He was actually quite surprised by how unrecognizable it was.
