Sean did his best to ignore that look from his brother. Given the choice, he didn't really want to have to go through this process. It wasn't exactly fun.... but whoever did this needed to be stopped before another person was hurt. If that was their goal... both of their killers so far had only made one appearance. Surly they couldn't be so lucky to leave it at that?
After Moody left, Sean nodded, trying to decide where he should start, inside or outside. "I'll be back, Dan."
He headed outside, his eyes falling on the blonde girl- must have been from the Oblivator squad, and Angelique. No one really had their attention on him, and he turned back to the door, opening it all the way so that he had some support if he leaned on it, and he took a deep breath, holding the air in his lungs as he set his palm flat against it.
There was a brief delay where Sean could feel himself being pulled in, and the image of the symbol on the door burned in his mind. He was determined to ride this one out, to see it through to the end.
And it changed. It was the same symbol, but this one burned into a wall. Sean tried to see where the wall was- this house? Somewhere else? It didn't seem to matter, and the image changed again. Same symbol, different place. This continued until everything was a blur in his head, and he couldn't have pulled out of the vision if he wanted to. It was always the same, the same symbol, just different surfaces. Walls, doors, sheets, skin.
Then, everything went black, and a word hissed and burned into his mind. He wouldn't remember it until the headache went away, but it was something to go on.
"Merlin."
He leaned back, his already throbbing head hitting the door frame as he gave himself something stable to hold him up.

Giving Sean a little room to work, Daniel looked around for any other clues. The room was clean. No fingerprints, no murder weapon, no nothing. Just pieces of some innocent person and a symbol. That was pretty much it. The first murderer they dealt with didn't seem to be linked with the Deatheaters, but this one had the Dark Mark over it. Granted it was a whole different murder and style, it just didn't make sense. Why this person? Why now? What did this murderer want? People to be afraid? Daniel just didn't get it.
Noticing that his brother wasn't back yet, Dan went to him. He put a hand on his shoulder. The headaches were common but he wished there was a way that Sean didn't have to suffer from the headaches. "You okay?"

Sean just eased back against the doorframe, trying to pull back the images that had flashed in his mind. It was hard to see anything beyond the symbol, especially when they moved so fast. Dan's presence made him look up and he slowly shook his head from side to side, not wanting to aggravate the headache. "I need a minute," he replied honestly. He hoped there might be something more useful to see inside, but he wasn't ready for another onslaught like that.
"Dan... this isn't the first time they've attacked. This is really... really bad."

Daniel gave Sean a little space, knowing from before that he didn't really want to be crowded. He looked hard at the symbol and tried to remember if he had ever seen it in one of his father's books, but it wasn't coming to him. Maybe he could borrow the books for a little while and see if he could find something like it.
Upon hearing the news Daniel ran a hand down his face. This was just the first of many, around there at least, this he already knew. Daniel groaned. "Great, just great," he mumbled. "This is just peachy." Stratching the back of his neck, he looked back at his brother. "Now we have to worry about where this thing is going to appear next." Staring at the symbol Daniel ran his hand over it. It was a symbol of pure chaos. This person could have been someone's significant other, family member, or friend and the person behind this symbol just ripped it apart. There were probably countless others before this.
"Do you have a piece of parchment or something to draw on," he asked knowing that neither of them had a camera.

"The symbol is.... Egyptian. Or Middle Eastern... somewhere in that region. Islamic?" Sean just blurted this out as the last bit of his vision came back to him, those red eyes and the word that hissed like a searing flame in his mind.
He ignored (or didn't hear) Dan's request for parchment as he bent over, hands on his knees. His head was throbbing, especially as he tried to pull back images from the vision. "It's not just this person, either. This is centuries old, Dan." Some of the backgrounds gave that away as he focused more on them. "Hassassin. I've heard that word before... what does that mean?"
Dan would have been used to this, too. Sometimes, Sean's visions were so overwhelming that he only recalled all of it after the fact. "We need Dad."

Hassassin. That word was familiar. "Hassassin?" Daniel was trying to really remember what it really was. It wasn't really coming to him where he had heard it before and it didn't really make any sense. He kept repeated the word in his head but nothing was coming to his mind.
Of course they needed their father. He was always their go to person if they were in a bind. Naturally, if he was away, they didn't bother him unless it was dire need. However, now that their father was staying around home more often, maybe just maybe he could shed light on the term and maybe the symbol.
"Okay, we'll go as soon as we finish up here."

Sean nodded, knowing without a doubt that there was more to see... He would leave all of the objective work to Dan this time because he couldn't really handle it. Looking for fingerprints, checking what little remains of the body there was for any bit of the attacker... the MLE worked much the same way that muggle cops did. They just had more tools at their disposal to get the job done.
"Okay, I'm good. Let's roll." He swallowed and nodded towards the inside of the house again. The sooner they could get to the bottom of this, the better. They could not have this person running free through London, or anywhere. "Have you found anything yet?" he asked, knowing he had left Dan alone in the house for a while. There was a sense of urgency to this. Sean could already tell that this killer was going to be one of those that was consistently one step (or more) ahead of them, and he was determined not to let this happen for very long.
