Christmas Time

[Rori Logan]

Rori made sure she had everything she was taking with her to Aunt Marie's together. Once she was satisfied with her packing, she skipped down the steps with a couple of gifts in her hands and stuck them under the Christmas tree that was in the common room. Rori picked up a book that she had left in the common room, and ran it back upstairs and packed it with her stuff. She knew Voltaire and Isabella would be leaving right about now. Rori wanted to give them some time with Aunt Marie and Uncle Évariste before she left. She made sure Dumbledore would set up her up a portkey, and he said it would be a cup, and she could leave whenever she wanted to. Rori sat down on the couch, feeling glad that it was Christmas time and that she was going on a family vacation, something she had never done before.

[Landon Travis]

Landon walked into the common room after having just recently getting up. He smiled that it was finally Christmas and that they had a long break off of school. He saw Rori sitting on the couch and walked over and sat beside her. "Hey. Merry Christmas!" He grinned. He had already added his contributions to under the Christmas tree earlier the night before. "Where's everyone else?" He asked, feeling that the room was eerily empty for a Christmas day.

[Rori Logan]

Rori grinned at Landon. "Merry Christmas to you too! I don't know where everyone else is. I was the first up in my dorm, but then again, I'm leaving here soon to go to my Aunt Marie's house."

[Landon Travis]

"Aw, you're leaving me all alone in this empty room?" Landon joked, grinning. "Nah, that's cool though. As long as you open your gifts first..." He continued grinning.

[Rori Logan]

Rori grinned. "I'm sorry to be leaving you. It's different having a family now. Used to, I never went on family vacations, nor really got anything for Christmas, but that wasn't a big deal for me anyway." Rori hugged Landon, then when she released him, she noticed, at least to her, that was a little awkward. "That was for being friends, I guess." said Rori laughing. "You have to open my gift too, before I leave."

[Landon Travis]

"Yeah, I will. But you go first." Landon grinned, feeling awkward from the hug. He picked up Rori's gift from under the tree and handed it to her.

[Rori Logan]

Rori smiled and took the gift from him. She smiled at him again and she took off the bow and stuck it on his head, then carefully unwrapped the bright red paper. After she unwrapped it, she discovered it to be..................

[Lucie Wright]

Lucie walked into the common room, she didn't know who would be here but she had a few presents in her hands, Sabrina's, Rori's, Landon's and Ally's. She had a few more in her office which she would bring up later, she pushed them under the christmas tree and smiled at Rori and Landon, ''Hey, Guys.'' She said, ''I'm just leaving some presents for people, your's are there too.'' She added, she began to stand up again, ''Merry Christmas, Oh and I've gotta help Dumbledore with the feast so, I've gotta go, I'll see ya' later!'' She said grinning and walked out of the door.

[Sabrina St. Clare]

Sabrina and Natalie walked into the common room from the hallway. Madam Pomfrey had released them both from the hospital wing at last, and now they just wanted to hang out with Lucie and Elle. Sabrina saw Lucie talking to Rori and Landon and walked over to them. "Hey, guys," she said tiredly. "Merry Christmas!"

[Natalie St. Clare]

Natalie followed behind Sabrina quietly. When she saw Lucie, she looked up at her cousin shyly. "Hi, Lucie," she said.

[Landon Travis]

.....a Nimbus 1000 broomstick. Landon laughed when Rori put the bow on his head. He waved at Lucie as she left and then greeted Natalie and Sabrina as they arrived, "Hey guys...Merry Christmas! Feeling better now?"

((Okay, in case anyone cares...I did my homework. Harry Potter homework that is. Harry parent's were born around 1959, so...currently we're in like 1970, since James and them are 11 or 12. So the Nimbus 1000 came out around 1967, so, it was like the big broom of the time. Yeah, I was kinda bored last night...so I looked this up. ))

Rori grinned and hugged Landon again. "Thank you!," she said grinning. "Merry Christmas Natalie and Sabrina. I'm glad to see Madam Pompfrey let you out."

"Okay, my present time." Landon grinned, not trying to be rude but taking Rori's gift anyways. He took the bow off and put it on top of his head along with the other one and then unwrapped the package to find...

A new broom cleaning kit and Bernie Botts Every Flavour Beans. "I know it's not much, but I figured you could you it," said Rori smiling.

[Landon Travis]

"Oh, no, that's great." Landon replied. He grinned and popped open the Bertie Bott's box. He reached inside and picked out a bean and stuck it in his mouth without looking at it. He had never had one before. It took him a second to taste it and find out what it was. Until he coughed and his eyes watered a bit, "Tastes like black pepper or jalapeno or something..." He laughed. "Thanks a bunch!" He smiled at her.

[Rori Logan]

Rori laughed. "The boogie flavoured ones are really nasty and they taste really really salty. I had the unluckyness of eatting one once," said Rori shivering. "I hope I don't get another."

[Landon Travis]

Landon cringed and raised his eyebrows, "Sounds great..." He said, sarcastically and laughed. "And here, Sabrina, I got you and Natalie something too." He added, getting up and picking up another box wrapped in green paper. He handed it to Sabrina and sat back down on the couch, eating another Bertie Bott's bean, which, to his surprise, was merely lemon flavored.

Rori laughed as Landon sat down. "I'm not trying to rush out of here, but I better run. I don't need Isabella and Voltaire wondering what is taking me so long," said Rori.

[Landon Travis]

"Yeah! Go away so the real party can begin!" Landon joked, pushing her to the other edge of the couch, playfully. "See ya later! Have fun!" He said.

[Rori Logan]

"Hey!" said Rori laughing. "Fine, have a party without me then. See if I care," she said smiling. "I'll see you guys later. I don't need to be any later!" said Rori as she walked towards the portrait.
