Phil knew the moment he had caught her eye. She smiled, and then her movements changed; they were more seductive. It was like her very movements were designed to draw him over to her, like one of those sirens from ancient mythology.
Wait a minute, a woman was dancing sexily and trying to get him to dance with her and he was thinking about Greek mythology? Either he was so drunk that he was getting smart, or he wasn't nearly drunk enough. He assumed it was the latter. But maybe it didn't matter. He was not about to leave the dance floor now to get a drink. Instead, he began moving toward her slowly, keeping time with the music.

Sedona definitely wasn't in the mood for this tonight. She was irritated and just trying to get off the dance floor, and the way this guy trailed off when he looked at her... arrogant as it may have been, Sedona knew exactly what to expect here.
Oh, who was she kidding? She was always in the mood to flirt, and have someone flirt with her in return. Maybe a shot of something would have helped about now, but she could put that off, too. Wasn't it worth it to see where this lead?
She changed her whole countenance, letting a much warmer smile cross her lips, and she didn't try so hard to tone down her accent. She had lived in England long enough that she was definitely easy to understand, even when she let her accent go, but it added to the mystery. Or so she liked to think.
And then, she figured out how to kill two hippogriffs with one spell, as it were. "No, you're right. I should let you finish your apology, yes?" She smiled here to show him that she wasn't serious, and she certainly wasn't angry. (Annoyed still? Yes, but she was hiding that as well.)
((I swear I replied to this like, four times))

Well, she was not mistaken about the effect her accent had on men. And Darryl was certainly not immune to it. A slow smile spread across his face, and, although it was not obvious, his face flooded with heat.
"I should have been watching where I was going," he said, unable to think of anything to say other than to finish his apology.
Come on, Darryl, you can do better than that...
"I'm sure if I had been watching where I was going, I couldn't possibly have missed you," he continued, hoping that sounded suave enough. "Er... would you like to dance?"

Sedona had been teasing him, of course, though the look she held in her eye may have had a different effect. But his answer amused her, and that's all she really needed- a bit of amusement.
"I suppose I can take some of that blame on myself, no?" She asked with a bit of a laugh. Already, she had forgotten that she was on her way to the bar to get a jumpstart on forgetting the couple of annoying guys she already dealt with. Boys- men, rather- had that effect on Sedona.
"I was hoping you would ask me that, Darryl," she told him, smiling. As if on cue, the song changed into a new one. Perfect timing, she thought.

Darryl grinned back, allowing himself to forget about Dezaraye for the time being. After all, what could happen to her here? He'd be close by, and besides, she was a big girl. Granted, sometimes her judgement seemed a bit skewed, but so far, she was doing all right, wasn't she?
"Well, in that case," he said, taking her hand and moving closer to the center of the dance floor. It was a fast song, so once they had a little more room, he let go of her hand and began to dance. He was a pretty good dancer with a natural rhythm.
"I'm very glad I ran into you," he told her.

Well, if he was going to take his time getting the hints she was sending his way, Dez was going to dance until he figured it out.
She moved to the music. It pounded off the sweat dripped walls and vibrated through her body. She closed her eyes and ran a hand through her hair. Suddenly completely forgetting that her brother was only so far away, Dezaraye let the music take her away into her own world.

But Phil was still interested. He was sort of attempting to be suave, so he slowly danced his way over to her during the course of the song. She wasn't paying attention anymore, but when she opened her eyes, she'd have a pleasant surprise. After all, who wouldn't want to see him when she opened her eyes?
He reached her at last, dancing in front of her as he watched her body move. Man, could she move. She was the type who usually had a crowd of guys around her, most of them too in awe of her to even try to talk to her, and the others all competing for her attention. He'd have to act fast for this one, or he'd be beating them off with a stick. He wasn't particularly keen on sharing.
As the song ended, Phil flashed one of his most charming (or so he thought) smiles at her. "Baby, do you know Occlumency? Because I haven't been able to get you out of my mind all night."

Dez opened her eyes to see he had come closer and grinned slyly. So he HAD picked up on her 'come-hither' hints.
At his line, she threw her head back and laughed. Boy how many times had THAT worked for him. She leaned in a bit, grinning at him. You wanna try that again?" she smirked. "You're lucky you're cute," she winked and the next song began to play.

Phil grinned a wide, toothy smile. "Don't I know it?" he said boldly. "Come on, baby, let's dance."
Dancing was actually not Phil's strong suit... not that really anything was his strong suit. But what he lacked in skill, he made up for with a complete lack of inhibitions. He wasn't afraid to make a right arse of himself, if that was what it took to catch a girl's attention. So he began to move with slow, highly exaggerated moves that were clearly supposed to be sexy. The girl liked to dance, and he was more than happy to charm her with what he thought were his best moves.

He looked like a fish trying to flop his way back to water. Dez smirked and moved closer. In her experience (and she had quite a lot of it) dancing was easier and sexier if she did most of the dancing and he was more of a...something to dance against.
She turned so her back was to him and then took a step back, finding his hands and placing them on her hips before swaying her hips, her back against his chest.
