"Aw, come on," Dani said, her shoulders slumping. "It's not that late."
While he had been very nice to her, Dani also sensed that he was the type that would very calmly enforce the rules when he needed to. She had been pushing her luck all night, and it couldn't last.
So she sighed. "Fine. I'll go to bed." Then, remembering her manners, she added. "Thank you for letting me stay up and teaching me French."

Danica was right when it came to the fact that he would calmly enforce the rules. Luckily, she didn't put up a fight.
He gave her a soft smile. "That's more like it. You don't want to be sleepy all day tomorrow do you," Henri asked looking teasingly at her. "And you're welcome. I'll be here for awhile, so maybe we can do this some other time again, hm?"
He stood up and turned his back to her. "Come on, petite princesse, let's get you to bed."

Since he offered, Dani was more than willing to let him give her a ride to the tower. She wouldn't admit it, but she was feeling pretty sleepy, considering it was late and she had a full stomach. And the thought of climbing all those stairs was not appealing in the least.
She put her arms around his neck, careful not to choke him or anything, and rested her chin on his shoulder. If she wasn't careful, she'd be asleep by they time they got back up to the tower.
"I'd like to do this again," she told him, nodding against his back. "How long is 'awhile'?"

Henri put his arms under her knees to help support her on his back as he started to walk out of the kitchen. He thanked the house elves again and disappeared out of the entrance.
"I do believe we could do something like this again. After all, you are with an adult, so it's not really against the rules if you have to satisfy a hungry stomach is it?" He gave a light laugh and started up the seven flights of stairs.
"Awhile is however long you want it to be. It could be a day, it could be two days, or maybe even a week." Henri paused for a moment and stepped over the trick step. "How long do you want awhile to be?"
