Vanessa had left New York as a young artist just hitting the charts. Of course New York was a very big place and she wasn't that famous at all, unless you hit certain clubs. Perhaps maybe once in a while you heard her name since she sang in different places, but it was entirely coincidental that Nathalia had been there, and certainly if Nathalia didn't recognize her yet, then there was no need to worry really.
