Kat realized that they had passed her common room about two floors ago. "Oh," she looked around and laughed a little. "I'm not really ready to coup myself up in my common room for the rest of the day," she admitted. "Mind comming with me on a little adventure?" she asked Liam.
Kat did that occasionally. She always liked to explore the castle, ever since her first year, where she got so lost that a houseelf followed her and she had to convince him to guide her back to her common room. She hoped that Liam would like to accompany her.

An adventure, hm? Liam didn't have anything else to do that day, and he was rather enjoying her company. She was refreshing. He stored that adjective away with 'charming.'
"Sure," he told her with a friendly (albiet small) smile. "Lead the way."
He didn't need to ask where they were going- that took some of the 'advneture' out of the scenario, didn't it?

"Great, an adventure it is!" Kat said gleeully as they continued down the corridor. It was only a few steps until she noticed that Liam was still carrying her things. "Here," she said, taking them from him. "I'll just put these somewhere..." she looked around. They were on the second floor. Along the wall were maybe half-a-dozen suits of armor lined up. Kat liked the suits, they were funny. Well, the ones that move anyway.
She walked up to the third suit on the wall and tapped its chest plate. It opened and she dumped her books in, closing it and pointing toward the mask. “Now don’t let anyone take those, okay?” Kat said. The Armor nodded. “Thankyou!” she grinned. Then she walked quickly back to Liam and a little ahead; a grin on her face.
“You coming Liam?” she asked playfully.

Liam almost laughed at her boisterous response. Yeah, he and this girl were so different, they were practically worlds apart. But that made things interesting, right?
He surrendered her school things easily, just watching with mild fascination as she spoke the the suit of armor. She was very friendly, in a different, honest way, and Liam found himself kind of... captivated.
"Hm?" he asked, attention flashing back to her, and he nodded. "I'm coming." He quickened his pace to catch up to her, letting her lead him on some adventure, which he quietly hoped would not lead to some messy end.

Kat vaguely wondered if she'd forget that she had put her books there. Figuring that, in any case Liam would remember, she shrugged the thought off.
Now, an adventure had to be just that, Adventurous. But where would they go? There were corridors, staircases, passageways that could make even the most confident of students get lost for days. She remembered one boy in his third year who had disapeared for a week before anyone found him stuck in the owlry.
Kat suddenly remembered that she hadn't exactly planned to meet up with Laim. "I didn't like kidnapp you from any other plans you had today, did I?" She asked. "I mean, you were heading a different dirrection when I was attacked by stairs." She laughed quietly.
