Chloe walked out of the Forest, her shoulder still throbbing from last night. It still bled a little, but she wrapped it the best she could. The healing spells she knew wouldn't help werewolf wounds, so she just decided to let it heal on it's on. She sat out by the tree where she told Remus they would meet and see how things were going. As she sat against the tree, she winced in pain as her shoulder touched the tree, but she just put it past her. Chloe waited on Remus to come out.

Remus slipped out of the hospital wing early so that he could talk to Chloe. Last night's transformation hadn't been as bad as usual, so he was actually feeling pretty good, considering. He just felt a bit tired and weak, but at least he wasn't bleeding too badly. As he approached the tree, he saw Chloe sitting there and smiled. "Hi," he said.

Chloe turned a bit so she could face Remus, but winced again as she moved her shoulder. "Hey Remus. How are you?" she asked with a smile, trying to cover the pain.

Remus shrugged. "Better than usual, actually. I wasn't as scratched up as usual. Are you OK? You seem a bit stiff." He sat down next to her.

"Eh, had a run in with Greyback last night out in the forest. He was trying to bite a friend of yours I suppose. I remember he had on a pair of Ravenclaw robes. He wanted to follow me and Pearl, but I made him go back to school. Anyway, I ended up tackling Greyback and we got into it. He pounded my shoulder, but I got my claws to sink into his muzzle, so that's going to leave a mark," said Chloe with a little laugh. "Well, I'm glad you had a better night than I did kid," she said nudging him with her unhurt arm.

Remus was shocked. "Greyback tried to attack someone?" he said, feeling a little sick. "I'm glad you were there to stop him, Chloe. I wonder who it was..."

"Yeah, Greyback is attacking kids again. I guess he thinks the younger he can get them, the better off they will be," said Chloe, "although, kids have a harder time adjusting than teenagers and such. Anyway, the kid, I know he was a Ravenclaw, but other than that, I dunno. If I saw him again, I could tell you who he was."

Remus frowned. "I don't understand why he likes to bite kids, who can't defend themselves. I wish there was a way to get rid of him, to chase him away for good. He shouldn't be hanging around the school." He thought for a minute. "A Ravenclaw... I know a few Ravenclaws, other than my girlfriend... there aren't a lot of boys. How old was he?"

"Well, Greyback gets a kick out of attacking little kids who can't defend themselves. He likes the feel of power I suppose," said Chloe. "The boy looked around your age, give or take a few months."

"He's such a bully. It's like he's out to create as many werewolves as possible and he doesn't even care who he hurts." Remus sighed. "You know, I don't even remember what it was like before I was bitten. I was too young. I'm glad he didn't get the Ravenclaw boy." He had a feeling he knew who it might have been, but he decided not to say anything about it. The kid had been through enough already, and Remus wasn't about to try and push him to talk about it.

"Well, I'm going to try and help you have your life as normal as possible. Believe me, life is just as hard as it is when you're a werewolf, except for the changing into the wolf itself. You are not missing to much from other people. I mean you go to school, have friends, and even a girlfriend. Most kids like you, don't get that chance. They're families disown them, and they don't have any friends. So don't worry about it," said Chloe. "I'm glad he didn't get the boy either. I tried to tell him I'd be here today, but I don't know if he got the message. I hate being not able to talk when I change."

Landon had been walking around the school grounds, being careful to keep a good distance from the forest after what had happened the other night. He was afraid to go anywhere near it now. But he saw Remus out by the lake and decided to go over and talk to him. It had been a while since he'd seen him last. "Hey, Remus. What's up?" He asked him as he saw that he had been talking with an older girl. "I haven't seen you in a while..."

"Hey Landon," said Chloe. She studied him for a second and noticed she'd seen him before. "Hey, you're the kid that Fenrir tried to bite last night," she said leaning forward slightly and wincing again as the pain in her shoulder shot through.

Remus widened his eyes. So Landon was the boy who Greyback had attacked? He felt relieved that Chloe had saved him, but felt strangely guilty, too. He decided not to say anything, but just looked at Landon.

"Well, like I said. I don't know how to thank you..." Landon replied, smiling again. He suddenly noticed how pretty the girl was. He blushed a little bit, realizing what he was thinking. "I hope you didn't get hurt too much." He said, looking at her cuts and wounds.
