Talking by the Lake

[Remus Lupin]

Remus walked with Rori, James, and Ally out to the big tree by the lake. He sat down and then looked up at James. "Hey, do you think we should conjure you a chair or something so you can sit down? I wouldn't want you to hurt your leg again."

[naicelle]

Ally sat down quietly. She looked around still hoping to hear from her sister soon. As she sat down she looked up at the others she had come with, thinking, do I even know these people's names. She couldn't remember.

[potter]

James shook his head, "I think I'll be fine if I just lean up against here." He replied, indicating the tree. He took his crutches and placed them on the ground and then leaned back up against the tree. It was a little uncomfortable, but he dealt with it. He didn't want to make it seem like he was too weak to even lean up against a tree...

[Rori Logan]

"I think more than James' leg was hurt." said Rori laughing. "I'm just picking James." said Rori with a grin.

[potter]

James playfully made a face at Rori, and shook his head. "I'm fine. I just don't feel like sitting down." He looked out at the lake and saw the squid off in the distance.

[Rori Logan]

Rori returned the face and grinned. "Something that would be horrible is being attacked by the squid. Although, he is pretty nice. I named him Herbert."

[Remus Lupin]

"If you're sure," Remus said. He stretched out his legs and yawned. "That game really was a heart-breaker," he said. "It was almost like no one was ready for it. It's too bad Sabrina got hurt on that last play, because she really did make a nice block, until it hit her on the head..."

[naicelle]

"Herbert?" Ally had never heard of such a strange name. She looked at Rori with a puzzled look.

[potter]

James chuckled, "Yeah, it was a brilliant save. At least it shows she has more dedication than any of us probably thought she had." Then once Rori commented about the squid, he turned to look at her with raised eyebrows. He just looked at her for a second and then looked back out at the lake and laughed. "Herbert it is then."

[Rori Logan]

"Yeah, she did do an excellent save." said Rori grinning. "Yeah, I named him Herbert. I think the name fits him." after Rori said that she looked at the faces of Ally and James. "What? Its not like I have anything better to do then name things."

[naicelle]

Ally laughed and said, "Okay I guess I see." She did understand how someone could just sit around all day and try to come up with names for things.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus shrugged. "Herbert. I like it," he said. "So, what did you guys think about the Quidditch commentator? Lockhart?"

[potter]

"He's kind of a dork." James replied, laughing. "But at least he's partially entertaining when he acts like a mindless moron. But I think he means good...he's just a little slow."

[naicelle]

Ally had heard a little about Lockhart when her sisters were talking, but she didn't know him that well, so she didn't know how to answer Remus's question. She was thinking about it for a while.

[Rori Logan]

Rori laughed. "Lockhart. Well, I'll have to say he's a pretty interesting person. I like his personality to a certain extent, cause he makes me laugh."

[Remus Lupin]

"Yeah, he was kind of funny," Remus agreed. "He kept the game entertaining, anyway. So, Rori, how are things going with your new parents?"

[Rori Logan]

"Things are awesome!" said Rori smiling. "Coolest parents ever, well at least in my opinion. You see, Isabella thinks that she won't be a good mother, but what she doesn't see is that she already is a good mother."

[Remus Lupin]

"It's so cool that they got married and stuff," Remus said. "I mean, Ms. Rothschild was really kind of scary when the term started, but since she met him, she changed or something. I guess love really is a powerful thing." He sighed, thinking about Sabrina and how she had been becoming more and more distant from him and everyone else. "Do you think 11 is too young to be in love?" he asked.

[Rori Logan]

Rori shrugged. "I dunno. I guess your never to young to love another. Because think about it, you start loving, the day you were born. You love your parents. So I don't think 11 is to young to be in love."

[Remus Lupin]

"Good," said Remus. "Because I think I might be in love with Sabrina. Only... I don't think she's in love with me. She likes me, yeah, but... not the way I like her. But I'm worried about her. She's always off reading and being all secretive about it, and she's been really depressed lately."
