Narcissa walked out to the lake. She felt like she had to get away from the school. Narcissa also felt like the school had turned into a disgrace, letting all the flith in the school. She tossed her hair over her shoulder and sat down by the lake.

Lucius walked out of the forest and saw Narcissa sitting down by the lake. He smiled. "Hello, Narcissa. I see you needed to get out of that Mudblood refuge as much as I did." He conjured a blanket and sat down on it, leaving enough room for Narcissa to join him.

Narcissa stood up and brushed herself off and joined Lucius. "Those people get on my nerves." said Narcissa. "Always bugging me. Wanting to know this and that." she said sighing. "I don't understand why Dumbledore let flith like that in." said Narcissa wrinkling up her nose a bit.

"I just don't know. That man is such a friend of commoners and mudbloods..." he shuddered. "He never should have been made Headmaster in the first place. How in the world can they expect people like us to mingle with people like them?" He tossed his hair over his shoulder and looked at her. Narcissa was, far and away, the most beautiful girl in the school. A perfect match for him.

Narcissa kept her gaze toward the lake. "I don't know. My father wanted to be headmaster, but I'm glad his not. I hate saying this, and I even cringe at the thought. I rather have Dumbledore the headmaster than my father."

"Your father is a bit... intimidating, from what I recall," Lucius said coolly. "Really, the Headmaster should have been my father. He wouldn't have let these riffraff in."

"Ah yes. I actually like your father. He would have made a great Headmaster. My father on the other hand, would probably crucio any kid who said what he thought would be the wrong thing, no matter who they were. Actually that would be a fact, because he did it to his own daughter." said Narcissa cringing at the memory.

"Yes, my father would have been a much better headmaster than Dumbledore," Lucius agreed pompously. As Narcissa seemed to darken with the memory of what her father had done to her, he awkwardly reached over and touched her cheek. "You know, Narcissa, there isn't a single girl in this school that is more beautiful than you. Your father is a fool to treat you the way he does."

Narcissa sort of smiled. "Thanks and you should tell him that he is a fool. Mother won't do anything to stop it. Last time you came by the house, you came at the right time, because he cruicoed me then. Of course he stopped the curse because you were at the door. I'm truely grateful for that."

"I am glad, at least, that your father approves of me, Narcissa. We would be an excellent match, equal in connections, wealth, and appearance." He leaned in and kissed her. "How would you like it if I asked your father for your hand in marriage? I know we are young, and we can wait to marry until after we graduate, but I cannot imagine marrying anyone else."

"Excellent," Lucius said, smiling tightly. "I will send your father an Owl tomorrow and ask him to meet me in Hogsmeade. I will ask him then." He reached over and ran a hand through her long blonde curls. "You really are beautiful, Narcissa. You take my breath away." He leaned in and kissed her, feeling nothing but the cold sense of satisfaction that he had secured his relationship with the perfect girl.
