Sitting Around and Reflecting (Rori)

[Landon Travis]

"OK, OK. I'm sorry. It was a stupid thing to say." Landon said apologetically, scooting a little closer to her. "It just seemed a little suspicious and I jumped to conclusions. I just wanted to make sure it was over between you two." He gave her a remorseful smile. "Are you sure he won't have any hard feelings or anything about the whole deal? I kinda feel like I broke the two of you up."

[Rori Logan]

Rori shrugged. "I dunno," said Rori. "But if he does, that's his problem. And, no, you didn't break the two of us apart, it just sort of happened when he disappeared, so it's not your fault. Plus too, I'm not so sure Voltaire really liked him anyway," she said with a smile.

[Landon Travis]

"Well, to be honest, I'm not so sure if Voltaire really likes me much either." Landon replied with a shrug and a slight frown. "But I guess I really haven't been around him enough to really get to know him- and vice versa- so maybe it'll just come with time....Wow. I just realized that I basically don't know any of your family members like...at all. Huh." He said with a slight chuckle.

[Rori Logan]

Rori smiled. "Well, I think he will warm up to you, he's just Voltaire. I don't know how else to explain it. I think Isa likes you though," said Rori. "Just be warned that Voltaire has his strange ways, so just be prepared, but you sort of know that anyway. Rori moved side to side for a moment, hitting their shoulders together. "We should do this more. Just sitting and talking. You know, I sorta miss Herbert."

[Landon Travis]

"Oh, yes, infamous little Herbert." Landon said with a grin. "I'm sure he misses you too." He smiled, lightly leaning his head on her shoulder almost naturally. "I think you're right. We should do this more often. I get cramped up in that cabin with all of those other guys I barely know and I don't have anyone to really talk to. Not like I talk with you, anyways."

[Rori Logan]

Rori smiled. "Aw, you could talk to Lockhart! You could talk to him about what are some great hair products to try," she said with a laugh. "Just kidding. We're going to have plenty of time to talk during school, and from now on for the rest of camp too. The girls in the cabin are starting to bug me."

[Landon Travis]

"Yeah, that's OK. I think I hear enough about hair tips and products by just listening to Lockhart talk around the cabin." Landon said with a laugh. "But I mean, at least you're with some people you know- like Anna. Plus, you're the leader and all. At least you get to be in command." He added with a slight shrug. "Speaking of groups though... I wonder when we're going to be doing another game sort of thing...."

[Rori Logan]

Rori shrugged. "Yeah, I guess," said Rori. "It's okay I suppose. I don't know the next time we're going to be doing anything as a camp. They haven't told me anything here as of late, so it won't be tomorrow."

[Landon Travis]

"Well, that's a relief. Maybe I'll actually get some good sleep in tonight." Landon said, happily. "I do like being here around everyone and all for a while, but I gotta say... I sure could use a break from getting up so early every day and doing so much physical stuff. I'd much rather just be able to do nothing and relax until I even get tired of relaxing." He said, lying his head down on the grass and looking up at the sky.

Rori laughed. "I can't agree with you more. I hate getting up early every morning then having to wake everyone else up. I get hit with Anna's pillow every morning. That's always something to be looking forward too," said Rori.
