First Activity

[Madam Hooch]

Madam Hooch stood in the center of the grounds, just outside of the cabins. Today would be the campers' first activity, and she couldn't wait for the kids to arrive.

[Rori Logan]

Rori woke up the girls in the cabin and made sure that they were ready to go before they all headed out. "Alright, hurry up, we can't be late for the first activity," said Rori attempting to make the girls get moving. Finally they all finished getting ready, and Rori led them outside to where Madam Hooch was standing.

[Justine Torrance]

Justine arrived at the first activity with the rest of her group. She saw Rori already standing there, and she gave her a shy wave.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus walked out with the rest of his group to the first activity. They had all gone on ahead without Dean, who had taken too long in the shower. He spotted Rori and walked up to her. "Hey, how are you doing?"

[Gia Campbell]

Gia followed Justine out to the first activity. At first she just stood quietly off to the side, but, reminding herself to be less shy, she raised her hand. "Madam Hooch, what are we doing today? The schedule just said 'Activity with Madam Hooch.'"

[Jon Thomas]

Jon woke the boys up and kept annoying them until they were all up. "Come on now, we've got to get going. You can't sleep all day," said Jon. Jon waited until they were all out of bed. "It's time to go to our first activity, so come along." He led them to were Madam Hooch and another group were standing.

[Rori Logan]

Rori waved back to Justine and smiled at her. She turned to Remus. "Hey Remus," she said with another smile. "Things are just fine! How about you? Isn't Dean just the best leader," said Rori with a laugh.

[Landon Travis]

Landon got up out of bed once Jon had bugged him a few times, saying they had to get going. He felt like he hadn't gotten any sleep and was very displeased once he got outside and realized that it was still quite early. He rubbed his eyes a few times, still feeling half asleep, and followed Jon and the rest of the group to where Madam Hooch had gathered with all of the other camp members.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus rolled his eyes. "Yeah, right," he said. "Man, that guy's a real jerk. But at least he slipped out last night, and me and the other guys were able to talk for a while. I was thinking we could try to get him in trouble for sneaking out... but since we'd rather have him sneak out than stay in the cabin with us, I think we'll just let it go." He laughed slightly.

[Madam Hooch]

Madam Hooch nodded at Gia. "We're going canoeing," she explained. "Each team is going to work on canoing across the lake."

[Rori Logan]

"Aw come on Remus, you know you love Dean as your leader," said Rori laughing. "Just kidding. I'm glad that most of my group gets along for the most part. I don't blame you about Dean. I wouldn't want him as my leader either. By the way, where is he? Still asleep?"

[Remus Lupin]

"He overslept this morning," Remus said. "When we left, he was just getting in the shower. Believe me, we were glad to get rid of him. You know, technically, we're on the same team, just separated because we're boys and girls. That might mean you'll have to work with him, because you're the leader on the girls' side."

[Elle Wright]

Elle strolled towards Madam Hooch, she looked around and then heard Madam Hooch say something about canoeing, she didn't like the sound of that one bit...

[Rori Logan]

Rori sighed. "Well, as long as you and the rest of the guys are there, I think I'll be alright," she said with a grin. "I don't think it will be that hard of an activity. I guess we could compromise with Dean that the faster we get done, the quicker he gets rid of us."

[Gilderoy Lockhart]

Gilderoy had gotten up with the rest of his group and followed everyone to the camp grounds, being almost suspiciously silent the entire time. Getting up this early was not normal procedure. He hadn't even been allowed enough time to fix his hair. How was he expected to be around such a large group of people with his famously handsome hair only half-brushed? Gilderoy was suddenly considerably less excited about this whole camp idea.

James slowly walked up to Rori and Remus and greeted them. "I call first dibs on getting to push 'ole Dean what's-his-face into the lake." He said with a grin. "Or at least someone needs to do it. I am completely convinced that the guy has emotional problems. He's such a grouch." He admitted, rolling his eyes.

[Lucius Malfoy]

Lucius walked up briskly, tossing his hair behind him. His group would be following behind him soon, but he didn't care. He looked around for Bellatrix and Narcissa, to see if they were both as hungover as he was.

Aaron followed the other students up to the camp grounds and awaited instruction about what to do next from Madam Hooch. He wasn't quite in the mood to be going canoing on a lake, but he figured it might at least give him a chance to be doing something that could excite his inner competitiveness.

Mac walked up next to Aaron and sighed. "Man Lucius was so tough last night." he whispered. He looked ahead to make sure Lucius couldn't hear him. "We have to find some way of getting him back... or gone...gone would be better."

Peter ran up to James and Remus. He had been Late this morning, but appearently he had still gotten here before Dean. "How late am I this time?" he asked, breathing deep.

"Eh...I don't know. It's kind of fun to bother him. But I don't think there's much to be afraid of with him. I don't think he can really do much to punish us. And besides, the worst thing that could probably happen to us would be getting thrown out of the camp. And that's not too bad of a punishment itself." Aaron shrugged in reply.
