The Kidnapping

[Quinn]

Quinn got herself cleaned up and got dressed in the clothes Gretchen had given her. She was starting to feel bad, like maybe she should talk to Korbel before she took Gretchen to the girl, but with Gretchen standing right in front of her, she had no choice. She led Gretchen to the girl's cave. She could only hope that Korbel hadn't stayed with her.

She was feeling very nervous and uncertain as she approached the cave. "She lives right over here," she whispered to Gretchen. Stepping out of the trees, she saw the cave just ahead.

[Gretchen Thomas]

Gretchen walked up behind her. "Very good, Quinn. You have done well. You've proven your loyalty to me, and you will be rewarded." She patted the girl on her head, then walked past her and into the cave. "Hello? Is anyone home?" she called.

[Kris Lupin]

Ashura hadn't bothered to clean her wounds from the fight after Korbel had stormed out. She had went to the side cave and got her clothes on then as she was wiping away the last of her tears she heard a voice. There was something familier about the voice but she couldn't quite place it, she quickly picked up her locket and put it on as she started for the cave entrance.

[Gretchen Thomas]

Gretchen kept walking as she heard someone coming toward her. As the girl came into view, she smiled sweetly. "Well, hello," she said in a friendly voice. "You really are quite a pretty little thing, aren't you?"

[Kris Lupin]

Ashura stopped in her tracks as she saw Gretchen. "How did you... find my cave?" Even though she thought she knew the answer. She hoped beyond hope that she didn't know who she really was.

[Gretchen Thomas]

"Now, now, is that any way to greet your visitors?" Gretchen said. "I thought we were friends, you and I. Right, dear? Ashura, that's your name, right? Come a little closer, dear. I won't bite."

[Kris Lupin]

"I don't know you enough to be your friend and I don't trust you enough to want to be your friend." Ashura said not moving from her spot.

[Gretchen Thomas]

Gretchen shook her head sadly. "I was hoping it wouldn't have to be this way," she said, moving closer toward Ashura. "But you're going to have to come with me." She grabbed Ashura by the arm.

[Kris Lupin]

Ashura tried to get her arm free from the womans grasp. "What are you doing?" She asked as she continued to struggle to get her arm free.

[Gretchen Thomas]

"I'm taking you with me," Gretchen said simply. "Look, kid, it's nothing personal. But I need to kill your brother, and since he left town, taking you is the best way I have to get to him. Quinn!" she shouted, turning around "Get in here and grab her other arm, will you?" She looked back at Ashura. "I do hope you'll come quietly. I don't want to have to use magic on you."

[Quinn]

Quinn hurried into the cave and ran over to grab Ashura's other arm. "Where is Korbel?" she yelled at the girl.

[Kris Lupin]

"I don't know." Ashura said quietly as she lowered her eyes to the ground. She felt tears start to form but she blinked them away not wanting to be weak.

[Quinn]

Quinn relaxed slightly. "So, then, he's not here?" she said. She smiled. She had been wrong. He had chosen her.

[Gretchen Thomas]

"Quinn, now is not the time for that," she said. "Come on, let's get her out of here and to our headquarters, all right?" She began to drag the girl out of the cave.

[Kris Lupin]

Ashura struggled against both girls, she didn't want her brother to die because of her. First Korbel tries to hit her with a rock then storms off and now she was being taken to be used as bait. "Let me go! I wont let you use me to get to my brother!" She shouted and she struggled more.

[Quinn]

Quinn gripped her arm tighter. "You know, you're just gonna get hurt if you fight. Didn't I beat you up good enough last night? You can't beat us, so you might as well not even try."

[Kris Lupin]

Ashura had had it with her, she pulled her arm free from Quinn's grasp. Though she had a tight hold on her arm she was still able to get it free. "I've had enough of your mouth." She pulled her arm back then making a fist swung her arm at Quinn's face with all her might.

[Quinn]

When Ashura punched her, Quinn fell back on the hard rock of the cave, blood gushing from her nose. Putting her hand to her face, she glared hatefully up at Ashura. "You rotten little brat!" she shreiked. "I can't believe you just did that!" Touching her nose gently, she let out a pathetic whimper. "I think you broke my nose!" She got up and grabbed Ashura by the hair. "You want a fight, girl? You got it."

[Kris Lupin]

"I don't think your pack leader would want you to take the privlage of hurting me from her." Ashura said barely wincing of her grabbing her hair. She could still feel the other womans hands on her other arm.

[Quinn]

Quinn angrily shoved Ashura towards Gretchen. "Fine. Don't fight me. You'll lose, anyway. But you are gonna pay for breaking my nose." She stalked off. "I don't want anything else to do with her. You take her, Gretch. And keep her away from me. I can't stand the sight of her face."
