Josh groaned. "Eh, classes. I'll lose my heater," he said with a frown. However, a thought came to mind and a smile spread across his face. "We won't have classes if I hold you prisoner right here and stay under the nice warm covers all day." Naturally, there was a teasing in his voice. Some where in the back of Josh's mind, he knew that they were already practically dating, they just hadn't said anything to each other about that yet. "And then, I'll get to keep my heater."

She was already laughing about his heater then she shivered and sobered up. It was cold outside.
Eve had never missed a day of school without good reason before. She had never played hookie, but suddenly she wanted to. Josh's arms and the warm cocoon they had created in the bed was so alluring. She knew that he was just teasing her about holding her prisoner all day and refusing to let her go to class, but recklessly she chose a different path for the day.
" What would we do...?" she asked wanting to know what they would spend there time doing if they weren't in class.

His eyebrows rose as Eve asked what would they do. Not once, even whenever he mention just not going to class before, had she ever asked what would they do if they just skipped class. Neither of them had really ever just skipped for no reason at all.
"Well," Josh started, "we could lay in bed for however long we wanted to, play cards, or something like that. We could just let our imaginations run wild if we wanted."

"We could have a picnic." she said not meeting his eyes and chewing on her lip softly. " We could...or we could make a list." she said with a proud little tilt of her head, " While we're laying here, we could write down all the things we'd rather do than go to class and do as many of them as we could when we did get up."
Finally her eyes darted up to his, what she was suggesting was new for both of them and quite strange coming from her lips, but she couldn't suppress the new feelings of excitement over their possible play date.

Josh couldn't believe that Eve was serious about just skipping classes, but he wasn't going to talk her out of it. If she wanted to do it then he was going to too. "Well, I think there's some paper and a pen in the nightstand drawer if you really wanted to reach over there and get it," he said not able to hold back smiling.
"You know, a picnic does sound like a great idea. We could have one in the kitchens or we could get all kinds of food then bring it up here, or we could just go wherever."

Eve shook her head no and then smiled, " Later." she nodded, she was still sleepy and she wasn't sure if they were really going to skip the class, it was all fun to talk about it, but would she be able to get through the day without worrying about what they were doing? Perhaps. If Josh was with her than the chances were good, but she needed to "sleep" a little longer to decide whether or not they would partake in this grand scheme.

He was still pondering the idea of Eve actually thinking about skipping class. The idea did make him smile. "Later it is," Josh said. "We'll figure everything else out later." He continued to play with her head. "You can go back to sleep if you want to. I'll still be right here of course. I'll make sure you're awake in time if you do decide to that you want to go to class. I'm happy with whatever." Josh gave her a wink.

Eve nodded then shut her eyes. With a yawn she snuggled closer to him, it seemed as if she kept rolling back to her own side every time she tried to get closer but she would keep trying. He was the one with the body heat though he claimed she was his heater and whether she chose to rise or not she did want to be warm for the remainder of time she was in bed.
