[Kristen Simms]

Kristen laughed again and playfully hit Anonimus. "You might know him. He's a sixth year, but his Gryffindor," she said quieting her voice down to almost a whisper. She didn't want to be overheard by anyone. "See, I don't know if its anything, but I think I may like him. It's just confusing. One minute, we're decent friends, then the next we're annoying the mess out of each other. It's always been that way."

"Ahh okay, the can't live with them can't live without them relationship. My Mom and Dad were like that, but it turned out to be the can't live without them after my Mom died," he said looking down for a second. "Truthfully my Dad is losing it that is why I had to go back home, I had to take care of my sister for a while," he said looking back up and running a hand through his hair. "So if he died today...would you regret not giving it a chance," he asked knowing that this really is the true test. "Because if you would be crushed then you know there is something that you should look into there. If there is one thing I ever learned from my parents its that you really shouldn't act a different way than how you feel. Never ignore your feelings," he said looking at her seriously for the first time.

The words I'm sorry came to her mind, but she figured that Anonimus didn't want to hear that. "See, the thing is, I'm not sure it would be as easy as telling him. Things would change and probably be completely different. I think I would rather stay friends if that was the cost. If I would say anything, he would probably think that I was kidding or something and I don't know if I could handle that." Kristen looked to the ground. She didn't want things to be awkward, or him to think that she was kidding. Besides, Reese would probably think that she was crazy for saying something like that.

"I'll just see how things go from day to day."

Anonimus nodded "I do understand not wanting to lose a good friend. Just never ignore your feelings. Seriously it never leads to anything good," he said shaking his head.

[Kristen Simms]

Kristen sighed. "I know." She didn't know what she would do if she had the urge to tell Reese, but hopefully that wouldn't occur while she was talking to him at some point. She knew, or thought, that it could be disasterous if she said anything. How awkward would things be? He could just laugh at her because maybe he would think that she was only kidding, and that would more likely break her if that happened. Kristen shook her head and tried to rid the thoughts that remained there.

"It might not actually be anything though. Maybe its just one of those short crush things that happen sometimes." Of course, Kristen could tell herself that but she would know that that was more than likely a lie.

Anonimus nodded "a crush is always possible," he said. "Just keep an open mind about this," he said again giving her an I might actually know what I'm talking about look. "I should have listened to what I was feeling when I left and I should have written a few people, but I just didn't and I regret it now," he said nodding a little.

She knew that just about anything was possible, but part of her knew that it was more than a just a crush. That part she wasn't exactly ready to admit to herself. "An open mind, gotcha." Kristen gave a nod. "Well, you keep an open mind too. You never know what will happen. Things could work out for the better now." She was trying to be a little optimistic.

"So to make sure that you keep having fun, you should go to the dance coming up. It sounds like it would be fun." She wasn't exactly hinting for him to ask her or anything. It was just she was suggesting that he should go, dateless or not, to the ball.

Anonimus nodded things really should be going up right about now they had been going on a very fast spiral down for a while. So maybe she was right. "Dance," he said with a nod. He had forgotten that there would be a dance. "Right, well are you going," he asked.

"I was planning to go," said Kristen, "just to see how things were." She wasn't really planning on going with anybody. She had orignally planned on going alone because she knew that there was no way in the world that Reese would say anything to her about going, even if it was friends.

[Anonimus White]

"You don't go to a dance to see things, you go to dance," he said smirking at her. "So are you going to ask this mystery man to the dance," he asked.

[Kristen Simms]

She looked up to him with a raised eyebrow then pushed him slightly. "You know what I mean," Kristen said hiding laughter. She shook her head. "And the mystery man would be a no. I don't think that would be a good idea. We would annoy each other too bad that night, and then there would probably be teasing beyond belief if I asked him to go. Besides he probably already has someone to go with."

Anonimus smiled and nodded he knew. "Well fine if your not gonna give the guy a chance, do you just want to go with me." he asked. "I guess it could be fun, but I don't want to go sit awkwardly in the corner," he laughed a little.

[Kristen Simms]

"I'll go with you," she said with a smile, then she gave a playful scoff. "You guess it would be fun? I'm shocked that you have to just guess." Kristen started to laugh. "Of course we'll have fun some how or another, and there will not be any sitting in the corner awkwardly. You, my friend, will probably be going all night. I'll do my best to make sure of that."

Anonimus laughed, "okay okay no sitting in the corner, got it. So wait I have to go get dress robes don't I," he asked with an almost painful expression on his face.

[Kristen Simms]

"Don't look like its going to be the death of you for getting dress robes," Kristen said amusedly. "It's not going to kill you. It's just like getting new clothes. I already have my dress. If I can live through that, then you can live getting dress robes, trust me." She grinned. She had gotten her dress a little while back to make sure she got one that she had liked rather than having to choose from what was left.

Anonimus laughed a little, "you have to help me." He made a pleading face at her. "I'm not very good at matching stuff. Plus I don't know what your dress looks like and that would be good to know in order to pick out mine," he said with a mater of fact nod.

Kristen shook her head. "Since your in desperate need of help, I suppose I could be nice enough to help you. Although, picking out your dress robes is not going to be hard. You just walk in, tell them what you're looking for and your sizes and they'll help you, but I'll still go with you." She grinned widely again. "I couldn't just let you fend for yourself."

Anonimus laughed "thank you," he said seriously. "I hate shopping," he said shaking his head a little. "I don't think any guys do though," he said nodding slowly.

"Well, there's nothing wrong with shopping," she said. "But it is more of a girl thing I suppose." Kristen laughed. "And don't worry, I won't drag you shop to shop. I couldn't put you through any kind of toture. Just to the clothing shop and possibly Honeydukes are the only stops I can think of we need to make." The last Hogsmeade trip was when Kristen got just about everything she needed, except for something sweet. She wasn't extrememly big on candy, but there were times whenever she did have a craving.

"Okay that sounds pretty good to me," he said. "Who doesn't love candy," he said nodding. "So when do you want to go," he asked.
