Edward sighed, no it had nothing to do with Sam, thank goodness, his daughter was only too precious to him after the forced absence. It had more to do with Anthony in general, but then again they all had their own quirks and irks. Edward's fear however was that he would never be able to fill the role of parent well, Anthony not opening up, or pushing Edward away felt like failure.

James sighed. "Neither have I. It's just that he's so much younger than you and I... we were adults when he was born, afterall. He's never seen us as children, and probably feels like he can't relate. I just worry about him because we both know he has a propensity for getting in trouble, and we never quite know just what he's done."

Edward nodded, he worried about that constantly, as he did Christopher, and Geoffrey, and Christine oh Godric that girl left to her own devices certainly would do the Montgomery name proud as far as Mischievousness went. Edward simply worried, like a mother hen might over her chicks, but he was a family man and therefore deeply concerned with his family. He didn't like not knowing what was wrong, if anything was wrong, with the people in his life. " I worry about him." he said a bit later.
