Well, she was already halfway there, Andi reasoned to herself. She might as well go the rest of the way. She was enjoying drinking much more than the last time she'd done it. The alcohol hadn't set well with her then, and it had wound up just magnifying her emotions, instead of dulling them. "Drunk sounds good to me," she said. "I'll try to figure this thing with Ted out tomorrow. What's one more night of being completely miserable, right? If we're right, then he's miserable, too... and I kind of want him to be. He's an idiot if he thinks I care about my stupid reputation or my place in my family. I've been trying to get disowned since I was 10."

"Oh, sweetheart, you are not going to be miserable with one my drinks. Give me a minute," Lia said, getting up from the table and going behind the bar, joining an older gentleman that was currently tending.
In a few moments, she was back, placing some blue in front of Andi. "Trust me, this will cheer you right up."

Andi raised her eyebrows at the mysterious blue-colored drink. "That looks... interesting," she said, laughing slightly. Picking up the glass, she raised it up as if making a toast. "Bottom's up!" she said, and took a drink.
It was at once sweet and sour, with a strong kick to it. Although the liquid was cool, it burned going down. "Mmmm, that's nice..." she said. "Listen, before I get too drunk to remember, I'm staying at 'Ogwarts now. I'm teaching 'erbology. I don't want to forget and try to go back to my apartment, OK?"

Nat nodded. "Hogwarts, herbology. Got it. Since when did you start teaching?" She asked, unsure why she did. She thought Andi was an Auror. Not that it mattered; she was just curious. Any information she wanted out of Andi was going to have to come quickly, before the drink kicked in.
"Talk to him, Andi. Sometime soon."

Andi took another large gulp. Yeah, this drink could definitely knock a person out. If she'd known about this, she would have come to Stu's the night of the breakup, instead of the Broomsticks. "I might as well say it now, cause the article pre'y much blew any cover I hoped to have, and there are others stationed there now, anyway. I'm still an auror, but they needed me to be close to the school for protection. They think there may be death eaters on staff. I'm pre'y sure one of 'em is my own sister, but I can't prove it."
She took another drink of the blue liquid. "I'll talk to him soon... maybe tomorrow if my hangover's not too bad. I might try and talk to Cissa first and see if she knows about anything Bella might have done. Merlin... what is this stuff, anyway? I feel like my head's disconnected from my body."

"I'll tell you sometime when you'll remember. It's a trick I learned in the states," Lia told her cousin.
In a couple of minutes, she had a second one next to Andi.
"You may feel all disconnected, but you feel good, don't you?"

"I do, actually," Andi said, giggling. "The best I've felt since the breakup. I'm tired of crying, Lia... but I miss him." She sighed, and her eyes glazed over, as if she was suddenly lost in a daydream. "He was so cute... his eyes were just so... blue... and his smile was like a little boy's... It always made me turn into jelly."
She finished off her first glass, and started on a second. Looking up at Nathalia with unfocused eyes and what she thought was a serious expression, she wagged one finger at Nathalia. "An' I'll tell you something else, too... Don't e'er let anyone tell you that Hufflepuffs aren't good in bed." She giggled again. This was the kind of thing she could never have talked about with Molly or Alice. Only Nathalia would understand. Still, she probably would never have brought up the subject if the alcohol wasn't loosening her inhibitions.

Nat laughed to herself. "Oh, I know, love. The best guy I can remember was a Hufflepuff. There are some serious perks behind their hardwork and loyalty." Hufflepuffs were underestimated, in her eyes. They were quiet and humble and in return could produce some amazing things, whether in the bed or in anything else they wanted.
"Blue eyes always did me in too," She said, trying to be supportive.

Andi took another sip and gave a dreamy sigh. She now felt like she was floating a few feet above the room. After being bogged down with tears so long, the lightness felt so comforting. "His eyes... I coulda wrote epic poems 'bout those eyes. It was like he could see righ' inside me. An' he said he'd be my fam'ly... who says stuff like that and doesn' mean it?" Her words were slurring badly now, and she was wobbling in her seat. But she felt so good... like she was on her way to being whole again.
"I know one thing, though. If he doesn' want me, then I'm done... no more men for me. Maybe your mum's got the righ' idear..."

Nat laughed. "Yeah... I swore off men for a while. Tried my mum's route... but don't tell anyone. I think my entire family would disown me for it." She only told Andromeda because she was sure the girl wouldn't remember it.
"I'll tell you, as much as I can hate men, women are worse. There's more drama, more cattiness... just too much estrogen in the relationship for me."
Her shoulders dropped and she leaned back. "Maybe he is the one, Andi. Maybe, after all of this, he will be your family."

Andi giggled and let out a loud hiccup. She was beyond sense at this point, but she didn't care. It felt so good to just be numb. "I hope so...." she slurred, although she wasn't quite sure what it was that she hoped anymore. She took one last drink from the glass. "Thanks for... this... I needed it," she said vaguely to Nathalia. Then she lost consciousness, dropping her head down on the table.

Nathalia sighed, her smile fading as she stood from the booth and went behind the bar to grab one of the younger tenders, asking him to help her take her cousin home... well, to the school.
She hoped that tomorrow she could convince Andi to talk to the boy.
