Simon had a smile on his face and a skip in his step as he trailed down the halway of St. Mungos after having accomplished what he had. There were few things that drove a man as complex as Simon, the first was medical accomplishments, he lived for them.
The second...well those dark thoughts were better left unexpressed, at least here in the light of day where he worked.
"What do you have for me today Peach?" he asked approaching Danny's work station for his schedule of patients. He had his hand out for the list but his eyes met hers and he gave one dazzling smile that baffled most, "Well hold on to that thought then, how was your weekend?" he asked retreating his hand and leaning on the counter to ask.

Danny had already reached for the stack of files, and was ready to run through them briefly, when he took his hand back and asked how her weekend was.
She smiled. She should have expected this by now, she thought. His smile even made her pause, and she was well used to him. But Merlin, his eyes were just too blue for his own good.
"My weekend was good," she answered, tilting her head to the side slightly. Well, she had almost lost her best friend, found out he was in love with her and turned him down, and had about three major fights with him, but Simon didn't care about all of that. "And yours?"

He shrugged, "I missed my nurses." he answered suavely, " This is the best part of my day." he winked at her and returned his hand for his files after the charming small talk, "So anything major on the schedule for today?" he asked waiting to be filled in, he could change between business and pleasure at random intervals but he was always, always charming.

"I am not a nurse, thank you," Danny said, eyeing him, though it was a touch playful. He always did that to her, but she was every bit a doctor as he was.
"Nothing major," she answered his question. "Your patient in 316 was complaining of pain in his right arm last night. I took care of it, but you may want to check and be sure he's not growing any extra bones."

"No you're not." he nodded with a smile as he paused to look at her, " but something tells me you'd have a wonderful bedside manner." he nodded again ,"Thank you for that."
She was every bit a doctor as he was but he preferred to think of her in a caring and gentle nurse like way he did enough involving the entrails and body parts to satisfy him with the image, a gentle girl like Danny shouldn't be subject to that.

Danny smiled and leaned back in the plush rolling chair she was in. "I'm glad you're here," she said, running a hand through her hair, even thought it was pulled up in a loose ponytail. "Last night was really busy, and I'm exhausted." Since he was on call now, she could go home and try and sleep. Or better, she'd probably just sleep in the on call room for a couple of hours and come right back to work.

"You look tired Peach." he said with a small frown of true concern, " Busy night I see, why don't you take a nap in the back? " he asked, "Save you the trip home and back I'll see that you're not disturbed." he offered generously.

Danny surpressed a yawn even as he spoke, and she nodded, not giving her usual "I'm fine for another four hours" speech. She clearly was not.
"You're reading my mind, Simon," She said, standing from the chair. "I think I will. Can you do me a favor? There's a girl that came in last night... she's fine, she's just under survelience for the day. But she's a little frightened. If you could check in on her for me, I'd appreciate it."

He knew when she quickly agreed that she was tired indeed, and being the caring respectable and charming mediwizard that he was he was eager to assist her.
"Sure thing peach, what's the girl's name?" he tried to kill that nigging feeling in the pit of his stomach. Tried to curb the beast that howled any time it caught scent of new prey, he tried...he tried...

Danielle turned around, grabbed another file, and set it on top. "Elizabeth Johnson. 14. Goes by Liz. She's a sweetheart; you'll like her. That being said..."
She trailed off and took off her badge. "I'm officially off duty for a couple of hours. Come and get me if anything happens."

"Go on then you, and trust me to take care of it." he nodded and then kicked her off playfully for good measure. When she was gone he gripped the countertop trying to get a hold of himself, not here. No he couldn't release what was inside of him here...he couldn't. He wouldn't. It took a lot of control to fight against the sickness within but he managed, he would need to do something soon though, these urges were killing him.
Picking up her file he headed towards Elizabeth's room.

Danny headed towards the back room where they kept a couple of beds. It was strictly for the doctors who had been on call for too long.
She stretched and yawned before collapsing on the bed, having no idea who she had just sent into see her patient.
Elizabeth was awake, sitting up in bed. She looked every bit the 14 year old she was, right down to her red haired curls.

Red hair at least, not a blonde, but she was young, and he could tell she was innocent, the beast within howled, the man however was in control, "Miss Elizabeth?" he asked trying to peek and see her eyes, "How are you feeling sweetheart?"

Large doe eyes looked up at him as she nodded to her name.
"I'm all right," she said softly. "Do I get to go home yet?" she asked, eyes even wider.

"Not yet love." he said giving her a sympathetic tone, "I have to make sure you're healthy before you leave, and then we can call your parents and they can come pick you up...or are they here?" he asked. He wasn't fitted with a lot of details for the patient.
Entering the room fully he set a charismatic grin on his face accompanied by an easy going manner.

The girl shook her head. "They're coming in later. Did Miss Thomas leave?" she asked. She was a little girl alone in a hospital room. If he got her going, she would probably start babbling away about random things, just because she had someone to talk to.

"She's on her break, I'm Mr. Montague you can call me Simon, may I call you Elizabeth?" he asked checking over the usual things while keeping his tone plesant. He was a handsome man his smile alone undid grown women, to say nothing of just budding females.

"Liz," the girl said, entwining her fingers and watching him carefully.
Then, as if she had been wondering it since the second she saw him, she asked, "Are you Miss Thomas' boyfriend?"

Simon laughed a little, "No Miss Thomas is a good friend of mine though. How old did you say you were?" he asked bending down and facing her at her level, " Old enough to have a boyfriend hmm?"
(Ooc: sidenote this guy is sooo creepy)

"I'm old enough," She said. "I just turned 14, but my parents say I'm still too young."
She said this in the way only a 14 year old could, where she thought she obviously knew everything and her parents knew nothing.
