"Actually Miss Kresimir that is what this lesson is partially about. The truth is opposites attract for many reasons but the novelty of someone who has a different lifestyle can be quick and amazing, you're not just meeting someone new who's exactly like you, but completely different, figuring out how they work is an exciting and surprising process, but of course there comes a point when differences may be too much to handle, the key is to realize that while there are differences and numbers do make less than perfect combinations between people and objects, accepted another being for who they are, and another thing for what it is is a process of simply being understanding."

Anya who was full of life and full of questions had more to ask, but for once kept her hand down. She didn't want the professor to get upset. As it was she was lucky Professor McGonagall had allowed her to switch Astronomy for Arithmancy and was the only second year in the class. She wanted to stay in the class so for once she let her questions die and wait for the professor to teach his lesson without her inquisitive and relentless questions. Her brother had always told her she asked too many questions even though he laughed at her when he said it. But she really did have so many that she always could think of something new to ask.

Caleb, who was unlike several teachers he had known in his past, was actually interested in students who had questions, and he found that they weren't all in Ravenclaw as he was, but rather Ravenclaws knew evertyhing and there was nothing new for them, but he enjoyed teaching and having someone else learn and he in turn learning as well. He'd speak to her later and she could ask all the questions she wanted to.

After her brother had wrote the assignment on the board Sam began her assignment, she didn't like that Rafe was watching her, that Dorian seemed so ...Dorianish, but she was immensely happy with her new friends, and so very proud of her brother who was doing an excellent job as a teacher.

Caleb had them working throughout the Class period and had made it entertaining in his own way hoping that they enjoyed what they were learning and what Arithmacists did on a daily basis. He knew he enjoyed the numbers and he liked figuring out what sorts of tidbits the numbers helped him to figure out, but he didn't live his life by them which is why Dumbledore probably hired him. He was a practical sort, an entertaining teacher, who knew the material backwards and forwards but didn't force it on the students, still he had a passion for teaching and that came out in every lesson.
"Alright class your papers are due next week have a good rest of the day I'll see you all next monday."
