Angelique sighed and shook her head. She knew there was more to this story, but she also felt it was none of her business. Yet if she was not their boss, she would have immediately begun poking her nose in this. It frustrated her a little. But she needed to maintain a certain standard as the head of the auror department. All she could do for now was monitor the situation. If things took a turn for the worse--which she fully expected them to--she would have to step in.

"OK, you're dismissed. Thanks."

"Tact is just not saying true stuff. I'll pass."

Ted nodded and stood again. "Thank you. I have a few things left to take care of here, and then you won't see me for a while."

They would know how to reach him. He nodded his head in a respectful way and left her office, letting out a deep breath. He glanced at his desk, and then decided that he should probably talk to Vincent before it got to be too late.

He made his way through the Ministry until he reached the Minister's office, stopping to see if he was in.
