Frank absolutely loved her laughter. He would do anything to make her laugh. Now was the perfect time and he wasn't going to be letting up anytime soon. "I deserved it? I was only doing what we're supposed to do in a duel," he said grinning. "And you know, you deserve this! You shouldn't have scared me like that!"
He could feel her body writhing underneath his, but Frank wasn't going to stop. "Now I will stop tickling you under one condition! You have to say the words: Frank is the best guy in the whole world!" He looked down at her with a grin on his face.

"Alice is better than Fr.... aaah!!! nooo!!" Alice gasped as he tickled her even more when she was about to refuse his most reasonable request.. well maybe to him it was but to her it was admitting defeat and that was sooo not going to happen she thought. Alice tried kicking the ground and wiggling her hips to see if she could escape by wiggling her way free but that didn't work as he just held her tighter with his thighs. He lowered over her to tickle her more and she thrashed her upper body against him in a true effort of escape as he grinned with a devilish look of impending triumph over her.
She wasn't going to say it.. not going to say it... not going to... not.... aaah!!! "No more!!!" she breathed as his face had moved closer that roguish smile almost smirking now. He knew she was truely caught and her only choice was to submit to his request if she wanted to end the torment of his fingers dancing on her hips. She was going to die she thought.... before she gasped all at once "Frank is the greatest man in my whole world!" she almost yelped it out without thinking. She couldn't think when he tickled her like that.

Frank laughed. He wasn't going to let her go anytime soon. "Well, that's not exactly what I said, but I believe that will work!" He stopped tickling her and continued to look down at her. Alice looked lovely with her cheeks a pink color. Frank still had his hands resting on her sides. He was beginning to feel like he was getting lost in her eyes like he had before. It wasn't a terrible feeling, but something he welcomed. His eyes seemed to have a far away look in them as he leaned down closer to her.
His breathing started to calm down from laughter and his hands ran up her arms. Frank wasn't even thinking clearly. His thoughts were muddled, and it was all because of Alice. Before he knew it, he was leaning down to where his lips touched hers. Frank didn't feel any regrets, and he wasn't worried about someone coming up and seeing them. If so, Frank would just ignore them. Right now, the only thing his mind was on was Alice, and it seemed as if his body went into autopilot again as he reached up and put his fingers in her hair. It was as soft as he imagined.

Alice's laughter faded slowly as he stopped tickling her, then she realized he was still there.. looking down at her as if his sun would rise and set in her eyes and he didn't want to miss a moment of either. She took in a long deep breath as her chest rose with the effort to breathe. And then she was lost... she was under is spell and he wasn't even holding a wand. And she didn't want to be anywhere else in that moment as she looked longingly into his eyes.
Frank was her friend, her confidant, her support, her laughter, and now she wanted nothing more than to have him pressed against her and enjoying his warmth and the smile in his eyes. And then it happened... he lowered his head closer and she could feel his lips touching hers. It was sweet bliss and she didn't want him to stop kissing her. His fingers ran through her hair and she groaned softly. For the second time that day she lost herself in his kiss and felt a thrill run through her veins. She didn't close her eyes this time though, not a first... she looked into his eyes as she began to kiss him back, until he groaned back and closed his.

Frank looked into her eyes as he first started to kiss her. It was a little strange seeing her watching him kiss her and vice versa, but it was nice. Frank groaned as she kissed him back. Her lips were tender and he felt like he couldn't get enough of them. Slowly, he closed his eyes and made the kiss deeper as the rain fell around them. Frankly, he didn't care. It could have been snowing for all he cared. What mattered was he was with Alice.
He pulled away for a second to catch his breath, but he quickly collided their lips together once again. This time, part of him knew what he was doing and that part didn't let him let go of her. There wasn't any words to describe the way he felt at that moment. He didn't want this to end.

Alice savored every moment of his kiss even when he broke away for a breath only to kiss her again deeply and with a hunger that surprised her. She had worried how he felt about her, but at that moment she knew in her gut that he wanted her more than friends as much as she had. Alice wasn't even sure when she'd known, but she knew that if he were to ask her anything in this moment that she'd do it without hesitation. Not because she had to but because she knew that he wouldn't do anything to harm her. She could feel even in his kiss how much he treasured her in that moment.
She trailed her fingers across his neck and pulled him closer, she didn't want it to end and she knew it was more than just physical attraction that drove her to continue the kiss. Her mind was lost, but her heart was found. She felt.. home she realized.

Frank realized what he was doing, but he didn't pull away. Alice had her arms around his neck for one thing, and she was kissing him back. Maybe she did feel the way he felt about her. He ended up with goosebumps raising on his neck from her touch. Frank continued to kiss her, but finally pulled away. This time, his eyes didn't show that he was scared, however he did feel awkward. He realized how they were laying. If anyone saw them then they would think other things, and Frank wasn't ready for rumors. He had a lot on his plate, including what to do about his feelings towards Alice.
He swallowed as his adam's apple bobbed as he did so. She looked so pretty. Hell, Alice would look good in anything, at least in Frank's opinion. Regretfully Frank started to stand up. "Er, come, come on Alice. We don't, er, want to get sick from being out here, do we?" He offered her his hand to help her up.

Alice felt the kiss end and even though she wanted to growl as he pulled away when she saw the look in his eyes she realized that he wasn't upset or pulling away from her exactly. He still held her and then he stood up pulling her with him as soon as he was standing. She realized as he spoke that his voice sounded huskier than she remembered it being normally and it made her grin inwardly with a smug sense of pride that she had been the cause.
He was right of course, she realized now that she could think more... it was easier to think when his lips weren't kissing hers. She finally noticed the rain and how wet her hair had gotten already, as a matter of fact they were both getting soaked to the bone. She had been so warm in the cocoon of his arms that she hadn't noticed. She realized also that he was almost stuttering again. But she knew if she spoke then that she would be more so. Now that she was thinking again, she didn't regret anything but she was nervous.
What would he think of her? Did he feel how she did? She didn't know what to do or what would happen next. She'd never dated anyone before, had never wanted to. But they had made no promises or said any words to say this would even happen. Would they go back to their dorms and pretend nothing had happened and go back to just friends again? Would they be able to be more than friends? So many questions ran through her head as they walked back to the castle holding hands.
Neither wanted to let go just yet, but neither seemed to talk most of the way back.. both lost in silent thoughts and neither sure what to say next. She was comfortable walking back with him, and yet unsure of what their future would hold or how she felt about the different possibilities. She wasn't ready to spoil the moment as they walked back though, and she knew anything she might say right now would spoil it. The minutes stretched between them and an awkwardness of what to do next crept in as they walked back towards the Gryffindor dorms.

The butterflies in Frank's stomach were still swarming like mad as he helped Alice up. Water was dripping from his hair and down his face, but he didn't mind. A drying spell wasn't on his mind at the moment as he nor Alice let go of each others' hands. Her small hand seemed to fit perfectly into his.
He couldn't think of anything to say, and he also felt like he didn't have to say anything. In away, Frank put his feelings out on the line for the world to see when he kissed Alice a few moments ago, and he didn't mind. Voicing his feelings was a whole different story. His mind drew a blank when he thought about telling her how he felt. He wasn't sure how to tell her. Should he just tell her plainly? These thoughts rushed through his mind as they made their way to the Gryffindor common room.
Frank noticed that his shoes were squeaking because they were soaked with water. He started to chuckle and paused, making Alice pause with him since he was still holding her hand. "Let me dry you off and then you can dry me off, cause my shoes squeaking is starting to bother me." He let go of her hand for a moment to pull out his wand and waved it in a circular motion muttering the incantation under his breath as he pointed it at Alice.

Alice felt the water in her hair, clothing and shoes evaporate almost instantly. She hadn't realized just how cold she'd been getting and her teeth had started to chatter from the wet chill creeping into her bones. The last few days she'd managed to be injured more than once and although she'd been expertly healed already, it had taken a toll on her body and a chill was the last thing she needed getting worse. She was grateful that Frank at least had enough sense to make them dry off though she had released his hand reluctantly at first.
Alice took her wand and gently rotated it in a circle towards Frank as she recited a drying spell in her head. She was really trying to still hone her skills in non-verbal spells if it killed her, and even the small ones were important so she made an effort. His clothing and hair had dried, an she chuckled softly when he tested his shoes to make sure they were no longer squeeking with moisture. "Better?" she said very softly.

As he looked down at his shoes to make sure they didn't squeak anymore, he looked up to Alice and grinned. "Much. Thank you." Frank wanted to hug her, but he wasn't sure how awkward that would have been. He ran hand over his hair. "I think I may need some kind of hair cut. I think my hair is starting to get a little to fluffy." He shook his head at how random that sounded. Now, he felt like the old Frank with Alice. It was strange how the first kiss was sweet and innocent, yet the outcome was extremely awkward. The second kiss wasn't as bad meaning, things weren't as awkward as they had been the first time, and the third time was even better.
Frank wasn't sure what the occurrences between them meant, but he hoped it was for the best. Still aware at what he was doing, he took Alice's hand again as they started walking. They passed a few students in the hall they seemed to give them a strange look, but Frank just ignored them. They didn't matter to him.
Once they reached the Gryffindor common room, Frank said the password and led Alice in, never letting go of her hand. He walked over to the girls' side of the dorms. Frank knew that he couldn't get up the steps without them turning into a slide, so he stopped with her at the bottom of the steps. A few students were doing last minute homework around them, but Frank only took notice to Alice.
"Er, thanks for helping me study today, as well as the duel. Maybe all of duels to come together will be as exciting." Frank gave a chuckle. "Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow." He let go of her hand and then shifted his weight. He leaned down quickly and gave her a kiss on the cheek, fully aware of what he was doing. Frank's face was red as a tomato, and he knew it. He gave a quick smile before hurrying off towards the boys' dorms.

Alice felt his kiss on her cheek, it was only a quick peck and nothing like the kisses they'd had before but the sweet, bashful tenderness it held made her toes warm. She hadn't expected him to kiss her again, even a little one, and especially not in public with other students around to see it. She wondered if he'd done it on purpose to show those around him that she was with him, some unspoken guy thing maybe? Or had he just not cared who saw? Either way a few students had looked up to see it and she was blushing to her toes.
He hadn't said anything about his feelings for her and neither had she. As a matter of fact both had avoided it she realized, but there was now an awkward calm between them as if whatever they felt was right and Frank wasn't trying to hide it from others. At least that's what Alice guessed under the circumstances.
Alice didn't have a chance to speak before he smiled at her and then dashed off to the boy's dorms. She had felt so special in his presense, not the plain brown haired mousy looking girl who was drab and unexciting as she saw herself to be. But instead she felt a confidence she hadn't felt before in herself... and in them. Not to say she wasn't still nervous as hell for the next time she saw him, after all, would he avoid her again like the last time? She hoped that was not the case, maybe he'd been scared before she finally remembered something her cousin Andi had suggested the day before to her that sometimes guys got scared of their feelings. However Alice still wasn't quite convinced, since Frank had always been confident and didn't usually seem scared of anything.. he was the bravest guy she'd known.
Besides, Alice thought still standing on the bottom of the stairwell looking at the empty stairwell to the boy's dorms, Frank already gone from sight, he had kissed her earlier in the rain without hesitation and she blushed knowing she'd kissed him back. And then he had kissed her even the quick kiss on her cheek in front of the few Gryffindor's spread about the common room who had been reading or chatting with one another. She was still blushing she realized, feeling her cheeks hot with red and she grinned as she ran up the steps to the girls dorm and dove onto her bed once she was on her floor of the tower dorms, tucking her head in her blanket grinning to herself like fool.
