"Books." she said immediately, " Bathes.." she sighed and hung her fork from her fingertips over the cake, there were a few things now that she allowed herself to indulge in since her mother couldn't stop her, and her mind was wandering, " Sleep."

She *had* to be teasing him. Merlin, but he knew that she wasn't, and it baffled him.

"Delectable isn't it?" she asked though the word seemed to melt off her tongue like butter she took another bite of her own, it was the most sensual cake could get but merlin if he only saw her with chocolates, or ice cream. She wasn't big on food, but desserts were her weaknesses.
"So...do you have any guilty pleasures?" she asked, well other than the obvious.

He sighed and wondered if Rabastan would get to her first.

"Any good?" she teased knowing he probably was indeed very good at it if it was at the top of his guilty pleasures list, he seemed so apathetic towards everything else that if there was something he wanted or a goal in mind then he'd probably do very well indeed.

He shrugged. "I'd tell you to come to a game and find out, but there aren't any this year," he said. "I'm not bad. I've been on the team since third year."

She nodded, "Because of the tournament?" she asked. This was that polite conversation that she had heard so much about well no not polite conversation but rather relaxed conversation and she found she liked talking to Ryan about himself.

"Yes, because of the tournament," he affirmed. "It takes up a lot of time... still, a whole year out of the Quidditch games is disappointing. Especially for the 7th years."

"Well there's still off season games...and you..you're not a seventh year..." she frowned, "Scouts will still be around for games...if you're worried, are you worried?" she asked as if she were asking whether or not quidditch was his endgoal.

He laughed. "I'm not worried," he said. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do, and Quidditch might be it. He just felt antsy not playing.
"We're actually having tryouts for a couple of new positions on Saturday."

"Oh?" she asked a smile dawning on her face, "Well then I suppose I shall watch you play then...although," she frowned, " Try outs...I would have thought you were already on the team?" it wasn't offen a sixth year who decided they wanted to join quidditch so late in the game.

"Yes, but then why the tryouts?" she took another bite of cake, she was paying attention to him, she was getting a little carried away with watching the way words formed from his mouth, and she didn't know what attracted her to that spot, but it was decided that he had nice lips.

That seemed to snap her back to attention and she nodded, "Is there anyone you're looking foward to joining the team?" she asked returning her attention back on her cake away from...him in general.

She smiled finally and glanced up at him, "That's all I got." she announced, "I was hoping that once I got you talking about something *you* liked, that you'd talk my ears off...they're still firmly in place which leads me to wonder if you're just as difficult to get to know as I am."
