Oliver was at the Leaky Cauldron getting a drink. It was late in the evening but as he was retired, and had plenty of money, he had nothing to do the next day. So he was free to do as he pleased with his evenings.
He stepped outside for a moment to get some fresh air. It was quieter out here. The sky was extremely clear, stars twinkling high above him. It was beautiful, though Oliver was too conceded to notice.

Amanda took the little vampire to the Leaky Cauldron, another hot spot for unsuspecting drunkards wandering alone at night. She thought this would be a perfect place to allow Delila the opportunity to hunt on her own.
There was a tall dark man standing outside the bar, and Amanda kept to the shadows as not to be seen. "There, let's see how you do with him my darling," she said to Delila.

Delila looked at the man, she could see he was tall. She wasn't sure how to get him, she thought she would watch him too see how he would react to what situation. She tilted her head to the right as she watched the man.

He pulled out a fag and lit it. He had taken up smoking after his forced retirement. He would never have dreamed of smoking while he was still an athlete, but as he was free to do as he wished now he had taken to a few rather naughty habits. He leaned against the brick wall of the pub, watching the smoke leave his mouth and curl into oblivion.

Delila though she would play with this one a bit, she ran in the woods a ways then after fixing her hair so it didn't look like she had ran she got on to the street. She skipped acting like she was looking for someone, though when she got to her prey she stopped and said, "That's bad for you." Though something about the smell of smoke was familiar, but she ignored it and focused on the man.

A little girl seemed to appear out of no where and was giving out health advice. Oliver, not liking to be told what was good for him, responded, "And being out so late at night without a guardian is, perhaps, bad for you." He continued to smoke, despite the girl's warning.

"How do you know I'm not just put for a walk, or looking for someone, or going home?" Delila crossed her arms glaring up at the man, she didn't care if he was bigger then her. She wondered if he was going to be too hard for her to get to where no one can see them.

"I don't," he stated simply. "I also don't care." He took another drag off his fag and blew the smoke into the air. Once again it disappeared into the darkness.

Delila was having a hard time with the man, she glanced over at where Amanda was. She had no idea how to get him to where she could attack.

Amanda waited in the shadows but it seemed as though Delila wasn't having as easy of a time with this one as she had had with the others. Delila looked back at her.
Amanda scowled.
Go on, she mouthed at the girl. She didn't have all night. The least the young vampire could do would be to play lost, but she had already burned that bridge when she smart mouthed the man.
Amanda perched herself on a low brick fence and watched.

Delila looked back at the man, "Can I have one?" She asked pointing to the cigarette. She figured she could try to attack him if he would give her one and help her light it. "Also, I'm an orphan, so no parents or anything."

"How old are you?" Oliver wasn't about to give up one of his fags to a minor. He had no qualms about the girl smoking, she could do as she pleased. But it wasn't as if he was going to just give out his fags to anyone.

"Thirteen." Delila said trying to sound mature. She thought she was better then the humans her age. "So? Can I have one? I've not had one before but always wanted to try."

Oliver was starting to get annoyed with the girl. "Run along, love. Someone must be missing you." He knew once he said it that it was a poor choice of words. The girl had already told him she was an orphan. And now it would appear he was mocking her. He sighed heavily and in a rough voice said, "alright, fine. But just the one. I'm not made of them you know." He handed the girl a fag and pulled out his wand to lit it for her. He had to bend down, as she was a few feet shorter than he.

After the cig was lit and before he could stand she flashed her fangs then grabbed him and sank her fangs into his neck. She could sense that he was strong but she wasn't sure how strong. She held the cig as she began to drink his blood.

Oliver felt a sharp stab in the side of his neck and it didn't take long before he realized the innocent looking girl was really a demon vampire child. "Aaah," he cried as her fangs sank deeper into his neck. With all his might he pushed the girl off him and drew his wand.

Amanda watched Delila finally manage to get the man close enough to her to take him, but she instantly sensed trouble. The man drew his wand and Amanda jumped out from her perched seat, leaping in from of Delila.
"Please sir. No. She's my sister. She doesn't know what she's doing."
Amanda pleaded convincingly with the man, the sweetest, most sincere look she could muster.

Oliver hesitated slightly as a second female appeared. "She said she was an orphan," he said sternly, feeling a trickle of blood run down his neck. "How do I know you aren't a vampire as well?"

Amanda needed to be absolutely convincing here, or she would have to fight. Normally it wouldn't have mattered to her, but she doubted whether the green vampire would be able to hold her own yet. "Our parents died. And then my sister was attacked. Please sir, she's just a child. She can't control her urges." She turned to face Delila and gave her a wicked smile, showing her fangs. "Apologize to the man, darling."

Delila looked at the floor acting ashamed. "I'm sorry." She held out the cigarette to him. "You can have it back." She really didn't want to give it back but she had to be convincing. "I'm really sorry, mister." She pouted as she looked up at him.
