Lucie stormed into the Three Broomsticks, angry at Elizabeth for approching Elle the way she did, she walked upto the bar and saw Elizabeth giving a butterbeer to a customer, ''Elizabeth, we need to talk.'' Lucie said firmly.

Elizabeth sighed, ''Oh. It's you.'' She said and wiped the bar with a cloth, ''What do you want?'' She asked.

Lucie frowned, ''That's not nice to say after what she's been through.'' She said, ''You know what happened with Laitia, and I don't want you to blame Elle for what happened.''

''You don't even know half of the story.'' Lucie said, ''Her mind wasn't right, she was dazed - she had been kidnapped by Laitia for goodness sake!'' She said.

Lucie didn't reply for a moment. ''It's not like she ment to kill her.'' She replied, ''I'm being serious, Elizabeth, she was still recovering, it was all a huge mistake.''

''Elle stabbed her, she stamped on her face - if thats not a meaningful kill - I don't know what is!'' Elizabeth said sharply. She knew Lucie didn't want to have this conversation but she had to.

''Laitia tortured Elle, I'm sure I'd react like that if I was kidnapped and tortured.'' Lucie said, ''You had no right saying that to her today, why can't you just leave our family alone?'' She said. People began to turn their heads to her and Elizabeth's conversation, she gave them a slight smile and as if to say everything was OK, then turned her head back to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth looked angry, ''I had every right! Laitia was my family - my family but you and your family went and took her away from me.'' She said, ''Elle deserves to be where Laitia is now, and I'll make sure of that.''

Lucie was startled, ''NO. I swear Elizabeth, If you go anywhere near her, I will kill you.'' She said, she slammed her hands on the bar, ''You know, sometimes I wonder who the hell you think you are, you can't just come over here and kill somebody! Elle is a child for god's sake, she's got her whole wizarding life ahead of her and you have no means to take that away from her and even from me.'' She said, her eyes swelled up and tears streamed down her face, ''You know me and Elle have been through enough, we don't need you coming back and screwing it all up again once we've finally worked things out.'' She added, she was so frustrated with Elizabeth, she felt like killing her, herself.

Elizabeth stopped all movement, she felt her heart-beat fast inside her, she felt sorry for Lucie. Lucie had never done anything to her and she didn't want to hurt her. ''Lucie, I know you've got everything worked out now, but what do you expect me to do!.'' She said, ''My step-sister is dead, my mother and father are both dead and my step-father is in Azkaban, I have no family, Lucie.'' She stopped and closed her eyes, ''Elle took the only family I had left away from me.''

Lucie looked up, her tears had gone now, ''Elizabeth, who said that all your family is gone?'' She said, ''And how can you call Laitia family, she was a death eater!''

Elizabeth's face went pale, she looked angry and upset at the same time, ''Laitia was a death eater?'' She said, she stopped and pulled the stool out from behind her and sat down. ''But she promsied... we made a pack.'' She said to herself.

Elizabeth shook her head, ''We promised each other we wouldn't let Voldemort be our master.'' She said, ''We had a deal, that we would make our own pack, lead our own was and put Voldemort to an end, but then when we split apart, we never met up again. I last saw her 6 years ago.''
