Sophie wandered through Hogsmeade with her hands in her pockets, she wondered what to do. The streets were literally empty, she thought that it was strange, but she ended up sitting on a bench staring at the shops along the street.

Elle saw Sophie sat on the bench all alone, she went over to her to see if she was OK, ''Hey Sophie, are you OK?'' She asked standing next to the bench.

Sophie looked up and saw Elle smiling at her, ''Oh, um, yeah... I'm fine.'' She said nodding, she looked down at her feet again.

Elle knew something was wrong and sat down next to Sophie on the bench, ''Are you sure, you know, you can always tell me if something is wrong.'' She said smiling.

Sophie liked the comfort of Elle next to her, ''Well, It's just that, I seem to be a little lonely most of the time, like I don't have that many friends here. It really makes me homesick because I miss all my friends back up north.'' She said.

Elle nodded, ''I know how you feel, I hardly knew anyone when I first came here, you'll make friends and hey, if you ever want anyone to talk to, I'm always here.'' She said, she smiled and continued, ''I come from the north too, where abouts do you live?'' She asked.

Sophie smiled, ''Thanks Elle, your really nice.'' She said, ''I come from Manchester in Lancashire.'' She said, she really loved her home but it was nice to get away from the city for a while.

Elle was surprised, she grinned, ''I come from near there, I used to live in Blackburn, but now I live in in London with my sister, Lucie - you've probably seen her around... brown hair, charms professor...''

''Well, when we, Lucie and me, came to London, to come to Hogwarts, we thought it would be easier to live down here because we spend so much time of the year at Hogwarts. I miss my hometown but I've got used to London now.'' Elle replied. ''I remember when Lucie took me to Manchester one day... years ago - it was really cool.'' She said.

Sophie laughed, ''I couldn't live in London... It would be too weird because I'm so used to everything back home.'' She said, ''Manchester is cool, theres like a big wizard base soceity up there. A big place for like young wizards to go, to help them prepare for coming to Hogwards or another wizard school, of course, the muggles had no idea it was there.'' She said smiling.

Elle laughed, ''Thats cool, I actually only remember some of my childhood in Blackburn... Alot of my memory is gone because of what happened last year, I can only remember some but it still comes back now and again.'' She said. ''Do you have any siblings who come to Hogwarts?'' She asked Sophie.

Sophie remembered being told what happened last year with Elle and Laitia, she thought Elle was really strong for coping with everything that happened. ''Yeah, I have a sister and a brother here.'' Sophie said, ''My sister is older than me, and my brother is younger.'' She added.

Sophie laughed, ''I don't really talk to my sister that much... I don't know why, but I hardly see her.'' She said, ''And as for my brother, well he is just the worst brother ever... really annoying.'' She said, she noticed a woman walking towards her and raised her eyebrow.

Elizabeth strolled down Hogsmeade, only to find two girls sitting on a bench, she wondered where everybody was. She walked over to the two girls, she was curious as to what they were doing here, she walked closer towards them, ''And may I ask why you two are here?'' She asked in a very miserable tone.
