Lucie frowned, ''Isabella, what happened to him...?'' She asked.

[Isabella Rothschild]

Isabella put a charm on Voltaire to make him lighter, so she could lift him up, then laid him gently on the desk. After she conjured a pillow for him to lie on, she looked out at the class. "I'm sure he wouldn't want you all to know what happened," she said quietly. She cleared her throat and brushed at the moisture in her eyes. "I'm afraid we'll have to cancel class for today," she said. "You're dismissed. Rori, Anna, could you both come here?"

Rori nodded. "See you later Landon." said Rori as she stood up. She walked slowly over to Isabella and Voltaire.

[Isabella Rothschild]

Isabella waited for the room to clear, then turned to look at Rori and Anna. "Girls, I think you need to know what has happened here," she said quietly. "We should have told you sooner, but we didn't want to worry you..." She stopped and sighed. "Voltaire was tortured, using the Cruciatus Curse. The Curse was on him for... several minutes... and the effect was so severe that he still has...spells... like this one." Her voice cracked slightly. "This happened almost a week ago, and we thought he was OK..."

[Rori Logan]

Rori frowned. "Did he do it? Did Voldemort do it?" she asked worridly. At that moment, the dream that she had before was playing again through her mind.........

Lucie walked out of class, she frowned a little and wondered what had happened.

[Isabella Rothschild]

Isabella looked at her very seriously. "Yes, it was Voldemort. He tortured Voltaire to get to me. He knew we had both switched sides... That we were no longer loyal to him. He actually..." She shuddered, unable to tell them how Voldemort had tried to order her to kill Voltaire. "He had the curse on him for a along time, and as soon as he removed it, I disarmed him and took off with Voltaire... we were lucky to get out alive. But it's over now, and we're safe. The after effects should wear off eventually, Madam Pomfrey says..."

[Rori Logan]

Rori frowned again. "Poor Voltaire." said Rori as her voice started to tremble. "There's no telling with Voldemort will do. I'm scared Isabella." she whispered.

[Isabella Rothschild]

Isabella put her arms around Rori and hugged her tightly. "I know, Rori. And to tell you the truth, I'm scared, too. I made a huge mistake when I joined with Voldemort, and leaving him and marrying Voltaire were the two best things I ever did. But leaving him is the reason we're in danger, and it's the reason this happened. I wish I could tell you everything was going to be all right, but I can't. All I can tell you is that we're going to be very careful and make sure we are protected. Voldemort is very powerful, but he's not invincible. Sooner or later, someone will take him down. We just need to be careful until that happens."

[Rori Logan]

Rori nodded. "I don't want anything else to happen. Nothing like my dream." she said looking down and shaking her head.

[Landon Travis]

Landon waved goodbye to Rori and left the classroom, feeling slightly confused. He had no idea what had just happened and on top of that, his first ever lesson had just ended halfway through.

[Isabella Rothschild]

"Rori... You heard what Natalie said, she doesn't see it happening. She can see things that are going to happen in the future. We're going to take whatever steps we can to make sure your dream doesn't come true," she said. "I don't know what else to say... I want to take your fears away and tell you that nothing else bad is going to happen... All I can say is, we're trying..." Isabella had tears in her eyes now, as the doubt began to creep in again.

Rori nodded. She looked up at Isabella and noticed she was tearing up, and with Rori's worrying, and seeing Isabella tearing up, Rori started to tear up too. She hugged Isabella tightly. "Well, I guess I better get going." she said sniffling.

[Isabella Rothschild]

"Wait, Rori," Isabella said. "Are you sure you're all right? Maybe you'd rather stay with him until he wakes up? Just to make sure he's OK? Or if you'd prefer, we can just bring him downstairs to his office?"

[Rori Logan]

Rori nodded. "I'm okay and I do want to make sure he's going to be alright, so I'll stay. I'll just be late for my next class, I'm sure the professor will understand." she said quietly.

[Isabella Rothschild]

"If not, I'll have a talk with your teacher," Isabella said. She looked over at Voltaire worriedly. "He's not usually unconscious this long after an attack... this one must have been really bad." She sat down on the edge of the desk and tenderly brushed a few stray hairs out of his face, then clutched his hand tightly.

[Rori Logan]

Rori frowned again. Please wake up Voltaire..... she thought to herself. "Why excatly did Voldemort curse Voltaire, Isabella?"

[Isabella Rothschild]

Isabella sighed softly. "He did it to punish us both. He knew we had switched sides... he knew we were married, and he knew about the baby. He knew everything! We never should have gone to that meeting at all.... he practically had us cornered! He forced me to confess. He probably would have killed us both if I hadn't disarmed him and made a run for it. It was actually a miracle that we were both able to get out alive." She reached over and touched Rori's shoulder. "But the important thing is, Rori, we did get out alive."

[Rori Logan]

Rori nodded. "It 'tis." said Rori quietly. "Voldemort is a very strange and scary thing. I don't think him human." Rori hugged Isabella tightly again. "It is a good thing you got out, cause I don't want to lose my new parents."
