Charms Class 3

[Rori Logan]

Rori raised her hand. "It lights up the tip of your wand, to light dark areas. It serves as a flashlight, like the muggle item."

"And to put it out you say "Nox"."Anna said smiling.

Alice rushed into the classroom. She sighed when she saw class had already started. She was late to another class. "I'm sorry I'm late Professor." she said taking a seat.

[Severus Snape]

'told you so.' thought severus as the frist of the late students arrived.

[Lucie Wright]

'Alice, i presume' Lucie said 'Dont worry, its okay' She said smiling 'Very good Rori!' She said '10 Points to Ravenclaw!' She said 'No everyone im going to black-out the room and i want everyone to try the spell!' She exclaimed and blackened out the room

[Remus Lupin]

Remus held his wand in front of him. "Lumos!' he said. The wand flickered on and off again. Frowning, he tried again. "Lumos!" he said. This time it went on for a little longer, but still blinked out. "LUMOS!" he said forcefully. This time the wand lit up with a strong glow and stayed lit.

[Rori Logan]

Rori got out her wand "Lumos!" she said quietly. Just a little light came. Rori let out a sigh. "LUMOS!" she said more sternly. The light on the tip of her wand. "You could use Lumos Maxima, too, right Professor?" asked Rori.

[Severus Snape]

Severus thought of what he needed and said frimly "LUMOS!" and a bright light flared at his wand tip and stayed lit. He smiled at the light, 'what a dark class room!' he thought.

[Lucie Wright]

'Excellent! And please call me Lucie' Lucie said smiling 'Now, does anyone else want to try before we move onto something a little harder?' She said

Peter said the spell shrilly and his wand brust with light then out again. He tried again and said it too deep and got a dull sort of glow from his wand.
"darn! LUMOS!" he said again and this time it flared as it should and stayed lit!
"Hey! look i did it!"

James knew this spell pretty well, since it was another one his parents used all the time. He took a deep breath, concentrated and said firmly, "Lumos!" His wand lit up immediately, and he grinned.

"Hey that's really cool James! you did it in one go!" Peter chittered excitedly.

James shrugged. "Eh, piece of cake. My parents use that one all the time, too."

[naicelle]

Naicelle sat there watching James do the charm Lumos. She had figured out how to do that one as well, but she was a bit shy, so she didn't really feel that she should volunteer to try it.

[Lucie Wright]

'Excellent boys!' Lucie said 'Anybody else want a try?' She asked 'What about you?' She said looking at Naicelle

Naicelle looked up to see the teacher looking at her. She said, "Um... I guess so." She stood up and took out her wand. She thought about it for a second and then said, "Lumos" and as she did her wand tip lit up. She waited for the teacher's nod of approval before she said, "Nox" and the wand tip went out right away.

[Lucie Wright]

'Good' Lucie said smiling, she looked at her sheet 'Naicelle' She said 'Okay, now im gonna black out the room and in pairs you are going to hide in different parts of the room, your partner has to find you by using "Lumos", Okay?' Lucie said

[Rori Logan]

"Hey Naicelle, wanna be partners?" said Rori smiling.

[Severus Snape]

"Oh i hate games" said severus pouting. He didn't like partnered games. he always felt left out.

[Rori Logan]

"Or better yet, Sev, you're my partner, no questions asked." said Rori smiling.
