Severus entered class and saw nothing was being done, so he sat down and pulled out his potions text and began trasfering some of his notes that he had begun to write in the margins to full sheets of parchment, in his small and fancy script he only filled half of one page.

Peter Entered the class and saw everyone was pretty much doing as they pleased so he went over and sat next to James and Sirius. "Hey guys what's up? Where's Remus? Is he still not well?" he asked in quick sucession.
