"Why are you so fidgety Sev?" Rori asked smiling.

[Severus Snape]

Severus smiled "I'm not used to being...thanked" he said hiding his slightly crooked teeth by ducking his head. He didn't smile often because he didn't want to be made fun of. Everyone had such nice teeth...and his went weird.

[Rori Logan]

"Well, I think you should be thanked a lot more than you are," said Rori smiling at him. "Then again, that's my opinon."

[Severus Snape]

"Thank you" he said feeling good in his heart. He finally admitted to himself that he liked having friends, and that maybe, some good people actually exist in the world. "You have to be the nicest friend, I've ever had" he said sincerly.

[Rori Logan]

"Thank you Sev. That really means a lot," said Rori smiling. She gave Severus a quick hug. "You're probably one of the coolest friends I've ever had. Honestly."

[Justine Torrance]

Justine walked into the room, her head down as always. She spotted Severus and Rori talking to each other and hesitated. Should she sit near them? Finally, she decided to sit down next to Severus and took out her books without speaking.

[Jon Thomas]

Jon slipped into class, thinking he was late again. Luckly for him, he wasn't. Jon picked an empty seat at the back left corner in the room.

[Andrea Holmes]

Andrea skipped into the room and sat in the first row, all the way but the wall. She hoped this class was good today, because she really didn't feel like being in this stupid class.

Jason entered next and nearly tripped when he saw Justine. She was sitting by that Severus kid, he noticed. He thought that was weird. He decided to sit behind her, so he could smell the scent of her shampoo, and maybe throw things at the back of her head. He pushed his way down the row, brushing past her leg as he went. "Hey, get out of my way dork!" he said rudely.

[Rori Logan]

"Hey Justine!" said Rori giving her a smile. "How are you?"

[Justine Torrance]

Justine frowned at Jason's rude comment. "I'd be better if some people didn't insist on being so rude!" she said sourly.

[Lucius Malfoy]

Lucius breezed into the room and sat in the back. So far the only one in the room worth talking to was Jason. He wondered to himself where Narcissa was.

[Isabella Rothschild]

Isabella stood up. "OK, class, I think we're still missing some people, but I'd like to begin. We're just going to have a review today, in preparation for a test next week. Can anyone list the topics we've covered so far?"

[Rori Logan]

Rori spoke up. "Well, the unforgivables, disarming charms, shielding charms, curses and their counters and boggarts."

[Severus Snape]

Severus waved at Justine under the desk and raised his hand and said "We've studied the shielding charm." feeling a little enthusiastic.

[Isabella Rothschild]

Isabella nodded. "Very good, Rori, Severus. Five points to Ravenclaw and to Slytherin. I think we should start with the Unforgivables. It honestly feels like such a long time since we discussed them." She smiled to herself, remembering how very different she had been during that first class. "Would someone like to give me a quick summary of the Unforgivables?"

[Rori Logan]

"Well, there is Avada Kedvra, which is the killing curse. Imperious Curse, which you can basically control the person of your choice, and the Cruicos Curse, which inflicks horrible pain on the victim," said Rori.

[Isabella Rothschild]

"Very good, Rori. Five more points to Ravenclaw," Isabella said. "Now, if you'll remember, I performed the Imperius Curse in our first lesson. What are some of the ways I said you could spot a person under the effects of the Imperius Curse?"

[Rori Logan]

"The person will have erratic behavior and a blank, wide-eyed expression," said Rori trying to remember.

[Isabella Rothschild]

"Very good. Five more to Ravenclaw," Isabella said, smiling. "I also said that it was possible to fight against the Imperius Curse using the power of your mind, and also by using defensive charms. Next I believe we covered Disarming Charms. What is the spell for a Disarming Charm?"
