Morgana slipped out to the nightclub, where she had heard there was going to be a big party. She and Evan had hardly seen moonlight in weeks. Evan no longer had much of an appetite for killing, and had resorted to drinking pig's blood. Morgana hated pig's blood.
So tonight, she headed out to look for a little fun... and maybe some trouble. She had vowed to Evan that if she bit any guys, she wouldn't kiss them first, but she figured at least she could flirt just a little bit...

Brain waltzed into the club, It was a far cry from what he was used to, but there were people milling about some dancing wildly on the dance floor. Music of this era had failed to impress him. It was either insipid vocals and melodies or a din of noises. He stopped when he noticed another Vampire, she was pretty and all smiles. He walked over to her and gave her a short wave and said "Hello!" and waited for her to respond.

Morgana smiled at the vampire who had approached her. It was a bit of a risk, talking to other male vampires. It wasn't like flirting with mortals, who she could have her fun with, then enjoy a nice meal. Another vampire... Evan might find that threatening. Still, Evan wasn't here... "Hi," she said, tossing her hair over her shoulder. "Don't think I've seen you around here before..."

"It's because I haven't been here before." He said with a smile "What's a lovely young blood doing here all alone." he said setting his elbows on the bar and then his chin upon his hands, looking at her through his eye lashes.

Morgana shrugged. "I just came out to look for a little fun, and maybe something to eat. See, my boyfriend doesn't like to eat out anymore. He thinks he has a soul or something. He's been drinking pig's blood." She shuddered. "Yuck. But anyway, I should warn you, Evan doesn't like it when I flirt with other boys." She looked around. "But seeing as he's not here and all, I guess it wouldn't hurt to talk a little." She held out her hand. "I'm Morgana."

"A soul! Atrocious!" he said referring to the pig's blood "If he can't eat dinner, I don't think he has a right to tell you where you get your meals...or other appetites." he said smiling and relieving his fangs. "You do know about that don't you?" he asked raising a brow his chin still perched on his hands.

Morgana giggled. "Oh, don't worry, Evan keeps me plenty happy with that. It's just we don't get out much these days, and I do so like to party. Just a bit of fun, dancing... looking pretty." She twirled around in her dress. "Do you think I'm pretty?"

"Stunning. The name's Brian." he said sitting up and turning in his seat to face her. He was dressed in a fitted coat, it held the faint luster of the expensive fabric he wore with average trousers, a mixture of refined and typical. He stood from his seat and said "How old are you? I've heard it said that you could always tell one's age by the cut of their clothing, You however is refreshingly young." he said with a toothy smile, leaning as he did so toward her.

"Oh, but a lady never tells her age," Morgana said, then giggled. "Of course, I'm not exactly a lady, am I?" She gave a funny little skip. "Want to dance?"

"I'd be enchanted to." he said with a smile and offered her a hand at eye level. "I must say I'm not to familiar with this modern music...It sounds retched." walking her to the dance floor and embracing her in a classical dance pose. "You could of course show me it's better side." he said with another sly smile not bothering to remove his hand from her waist.

"Oh, I like this kind of music," Morgana said. "It's so lively and fun. The music of my time was always so stuffy and boring. And everyone danced all stiffly, afraid to touch people. The Victorians especially. Ugh, but they were such dreadful bores. And the clothes... such high collars and long, heavy skirts. Yuck. I like this era so much more... short skirts and low collars and fun, bouncy music. I think I was born to live in this time... I was so out of place in my time."

"Oh, Don't get me started on the Victorians! biggest group of hypocrites since the romans!" He said twirling her about. "I could live with out the current style of men's hair, hideous and mind blaring ugly." he said gesturing to a blond and homely looking young man with a bowl styled haircut. it all but hung over his eyes. "Oh thing i did like about the Victorians...Was those lovely bodices, under all the layers, they were sensualists." he grinned his face expressively showing both wonder then amusement.

"Well, to be fair, men's hairstyles have always been traditionally ugly. No offense, but really. Most of the hairstyles for men throughout history have been dreadful. I mean, powdered wigs? Who thought that was a good idea?" She giggled as he swung her around. "I like the women's styles now, anyway. I mean, it was always such a pain to fix my hair up in all those heavy, complicated bird's nest styles with all those curls and poofs. Ick. I like to wear it just like this; wild and free." She shook her head for emphasis, swinging her long dark locks around with wild abandon.

"Well, head lice were always a bother! I never wore one, I prefered to be a vagabond for nearly a quarter of a century... It's a good thing those upstart Americans decided to send the mother country into an uproar soon after." he said with smirk.

"Well, I was still pretty young in those days," Morgana said. "I'd only been a vampire for about 50 years when the Americans started their little rebellion. For a while, I tried to fit in with society, just because I could have my pick of the richest and most handsome boys... And oh, how they adored me! They always died with such happy smiles on their faces!" She giggled at the memory. "But after a while, my reputation got around and I had to move on. Evan and I spent almost a hundred years over in the colonies. Have you ever been? It really is such a fun and exciting place! I had such great fun in the 20s... and oh.... the 60s..." She gave him a daring wink.

"Easy pickings if anything! Americans are so willing to blame one another! So this Evan, he's, what? two centuries? hmph!" Brian waved his hand as if waving away a scent. "That's nearly nothing to me, I've been opera houses and theaters all over this continent. It seems it's where I fit in. Believe me, France and it's 'Theater of the Vampires' ended on a down note...Oh by no fault of mine of course!" he said trying to brush away any concern.

"Oh, Evan's quite a bit older than me," Morgana said. "But he says he fell in love with me as soon as he saw me... he wanted to be with me forever. Of course, it took him forever to tell me so... just like a man, you know? Oh, but he's so pretty..." She sighed happily. "I bet you have some wonderful stories, though. I'd love to hear them," she added, fluttering her eyes prettily.

"Ah well My story might be long drawn out and full of misspellings, you'll have to forgive me but I only bothered to learn English a century ago." he said grinning and bowing at her.

"Oh... what language do you normally speak?" Morgana said. "I don't know any other languages, myself. Never had an aptitude for them. In fact, learning in general was never really my thing. I did terribly in school... I was lucky they didn't kick me out of Hogwarts before I was bitten."

"Ah, so you know magic? I'm afraid during my childhood There was no established school of magic in my country, or even just school! I was born in the north of Italy, I was sold to a theather and I was made by a ...ah ...the best way to describe him is insane. So that was my birth, Boring wasn't it?" he said being bland.
