"Good," Gretchen said, smiling with satisfaction. "I'm pretty sure he's never seen you, but he's seen me before, and he obviously knows Korbel. Just... keep him occupied with thoughts of anything but werewolves, OK? And don't let him know you are one. I think that would blow the whole thing. And... if you can find out about Buck--subtly, of course--then that would be even better."

[Rochelle Parnell]

"My pleasure," said Rochelle with a grin. "I haven't had any fun in awhile, so this ought to be fun. I'll see what I can about Buck, if possible. I'll see if I can't get him talking about his job or whatnot, and if he's killed any, and then see if he mentions anything," she said. "I won't mention that I'm a werewolf. And I'll come up with something if he asks what I do. No worries."

[Gretchen Thomas]

"Good," Gretchen said with a smile. "I know I can trust you with this. Just remember, the guy's a little unbalanced, so be very careful around him. Don't let your guard down... just try to keep him out of the way. Good luck, Rochelle. I think it would be best for you if you don't try to see me for a while--I'll contact you if I need you, OK?"

"Yeah, I'll be careful," said Rochelle. "And I won't try to meet you. Although, I guess I better get a room somewhere first so it won't look too suspicious. After that, I suppose I'll just look around," she said with a smile.

[Gretchen Thomas]

"All right, good luck," Gretchen said. "Send me an owl if you get into trouble. Otherwise, I guess I'll see you at the next full moon." She turned and headed out of the cemetary.
