Voltaire became aware of time again when he felt his neck feel like a chunk of lead. He opened his eyes as saw it was now dark and also made the observation that the sofa wasn't a good place to sleep...ever. he streched and began to wake isa up.

Isabella was still sleeping peacefully, her head on Voltaire's chest and her arms wrapped around him. She became dimly aware of his movement and stirred slightly, curling her arm more tightly around him and murmuring something unintelligible under her breath.

"Hmmm, time to wake up. I think the bed would be a little more comfortable." said voltaire gently sitting up and scooping Isa up. After the many times he had done it, it was far easier to lift her now. He walked to their bedroom and left her on the bed and crawled on to the other side, drawing the curtains closed before. and forgetting about the clothing in the living room.

Now awake, Isabella turned around in bed and put her arms around him. "We probably should have started here to begin with," she said softly. "But anytime I'm with you, it doesn't matter where we are. I couldn't sleep without you, did you know that?"

I couldn't sleep without you either...and nights never seemed so long either!" he said wrapping his arms around her. "Besides, I did say 'anything once!' so i guess that qualifies!" he said chuckling.

Isabella smiled and put her head on his shoulder. "I'm just happy you're back. Please tell me you won't leave me again... I don't think I can bear it. Loving you is like breathing." She began drawing little circles on his chest with her finger. "Did you notice.... I'm starting to show already. I'm going to blow up like a balloon!"

Voltaire ran his hand over the belly of his wife and was thrilled to feel the slight differance. "Your not going to blow up, you are going to look beautiful." he said feeling the warm and fuzzies. "I love you and nothing in a million years will change that!" he said kissing her and smiling.

She let out a squeal as he touched her stomach. "I'm really scared," she admitted. "I don't know the first thing about babies. As tough as it is to be the sudden mother of two teenage--or almost teenage--girls, having a baby is even more terrifying. I've never even held a baby before..."

"I'll show you... " he took up a pillow and smooshed it smaller and tucked his elbow under one end, lifting it higher and cradling the other end with other arm. "it's not so bad at frist...but even after a while the smallest baby will make your arms fall off!" he said smiling.

She took the pillow from his and cradled it in her arms, trying to imagine it was a baby. She felt a strange thrill of excitement, thinking of holding her child, with Voltaire at her side. With tears shining in her eyes, she looked up at him. "What do you think it'll look like? Do you think it'll be a boy or a girl?"

"With your good looks and my dashing charm, our kid will have to beat off suitors with a stick!" He said wrapping an arm around Isa. "If It's a boy, I'll be thrilled, If it's a girl I'll be thrilled. It doesn't really matter in the end...As long as the baby is pink and screaming like it should." he said seriously kissing her cheek.

Isabella set down the pillow and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I just hope I can do this right. I want to raise our baby right and give it a good, happy life. The kind of life my parents never gave me."

"I know we will...We Love each other. That has to count" he said kissing her temple. "Your parents might of failed you, but I swear never to fail you." he said holding her closer.

Isabella smiled tearfully and caressed his cheek. "I know you won't. I've never been very good at trusting people, but I trust you. I would trust you with my life." She kissed him and leaned back on the bed, bringing him down with her. "You know, I thought of a name for our baby, if it's a girl."

"what name did you think of? In all honesty I haven't thought of any good names yet..." said Voltaire grinning, the idea of thinking of names together sounded much nicer than just picking something he liked.

Isabella smiled and draped her arm over his chest. "I haven't thought of a boy's name yet, but if it's a girl, I was thinking we could name her after my grandmother..."

"Oh that would be a good idea, You did love her...what was her name?" he felt like a cad for asking, but he didn't remember if he had ever been told what her name was.

"It was Victoria," she said, smiling softly. "I thought... maybe it would remind us that one day, Voldemort will be defeated and the wizarding world will be free once again."

"that's a lovely name! " said voltaire as he tried to picture what child could look like him and still look adorable. " I hope she looks like you, She'll look terrible if she looks like me!" he said feeling pensive.

Isabella laughed. "What did you look like as a little boy? I bet you were an adorably evil little scamp." She picked up his hand and kissed his palm. "Voltaire, you haven't really told me much about your childhood, or your parents or anything. I don't even know if your parents are still alive. If they are, I'd like to meet them sometime, since they're kind of my family, now, too..."
