Drinking Tea and Thinking

"He cried?" Isabella said, feeling a pang of sorrow at the realization that their split had hurt him so much. "I hate to think of him crying over me. But then, I cried, too. It seemed like I couldn't go a minute without crying. We've got to get back together, it makes no sense for us to be apart when we love each other so much." She laughed at Rori's story about the trees. "Somehow, I can picture it," she said. "I'll have to charm the trees to stay away from him."

[Rori Logan]

"You'll get back together, I promise." said Rori smiling. "Yeah, he said that the trees were after me. I told him that they were after him, and not me, cause I'm short and I like trees." said Rori shrugging and laughing. "It was pretty funny. He got a knot on his head, and then we got laughing about knitting it clothes and possibly naming it."

Isabella laughed. "He's so insane... I love him. I've laughed more since I met him than I ever did in my life." She finished her tea. "Thanks, Rori. I really needed this little talk."

[Rori Logan]

Rori smiled. "Me too and I really needed to get out of the school." she said laughing. "Staying there all the time will drive a person crazy."

"Yeah, I know," Isabella said. "But you really do need to be careful. Jake is still out there, and he knows you're Voltaire's niece. He hates Voltaire, and if he has to hurt you to get to him, then he will." She stood up slowly. "Come on, Rori, I'll walk you back to the school."

[Rori Logan]

"I'll be careful." said Rori nodding. "Alright, let's go, I'm following you." she said with a smile.
