Yasmina took his hands and stood up slowly, pulling him up with her. "Well, come on, then," she said. "Let's get out of here already. I don't know about you, but I'm getting sick of the smell of stale whiskey and smoke. I just want to be with you." She leaned in and kissed him happily.

Sam took her hand, after he finally broke the kiss, and let her lead them out of the place and then he followed her like a love sick puppy, he just couldn't help himself. She looked nice, from both sides, if he said so himself. He smiled and continued to follow Yas. As they exited, a girl bumped into Sam, but he didn't pay her any attention at all. He started to walk beside her and turned his head slightly to give her a happy smile.

Yasmina was smiling blissfully as Sam led her out of the bar. He had eyes only for her, and that was all she ever wanted. She would have to remember the formula she had used for the love potion. As a girl bumped into Sam, she turned and stared daggers at the girl. The nerve of the girl... touching her Sam. If not for the love potion, he might have looked at the girl a second time--she was a pretty blonde. Yasmina felt a flare of anger at the thought of it, but quickly pushed it aside. It didn't matter, she told herself. She had Sam all to herself right now. She leaned against his shoulder and trailed her fingers along his arm.

Sam gently wrapped his arm around her waist as they walked. The evening was pretty with the pink and purple clouds streaked across the sky, but it wasn't as pretty as Yas. He looked down at her and sighed contently. Everything was perfect. As they finally made it to the house, he opened the door for her. "Well, we're home," he said quietly with a grin.

Yasmina walked into the house, then turned to look at him. She giggled and looked at him coyly. "So we are," she said. "And just what do you intend to do about it?" She perched her hands on her hips and waited.

"Just sit around on the couch," replied Samuel with a smirk. He took a few steps closer to the couch, but turned around and grabbed Yas' hand, then pulled her close to him. "I couldn't just sit there by myself," he whispered in her ear. Samuel leaned down and kissed her. He led her over to the couch and then pulled her down with him.

Yasmina let out a squeal as he pulled her down. "You make me crazy, you know that?" she asked, looking at him with her head tilted. She ran her hand through his hair, then leaned down to kiss his neck. She loved him, but she was always careful never to use the "L" word with him, as it usually caused him to head for the door. She was sure that if he left her for good, she would go completely crazy.

"Good," said Samuel with a sly grin. He laughed as Yas kissed his neck. It was something that always made him weak, and it was only she who could do it to him. He ran his hands down the length of her torso, then grabbed her shoulders and pulled her back a bit, only to crash his lips on hers. Tonight, he didn't know what it was, but he couldn't get enough of her, more so than any other day.

Yasmina closed her eyes and sighed happily. She wished it could always be like this, him totally fixated on her and not even thinking about anyone else. She also wished that, just once, he would tell her that he loved her. But he avoided the word like poison. She would just have to enjoy this moment, when he was all hers.

Sam met Yas' eyes and grinned. "Well, m'dear. Don't you think that we should turn in a bit early," he said suggestively with his eyebrows raised. He took her small hands into his and held them, then leaned in and gently kissed the base of her neck.

"Mmmm... OK," Yasmina replied, closing her eyes and arching her neck. She wanted to get up and head toward the bedroom, but her legs felt weak, like jelly. "Maybe you'd better carry me," she whispered.

Samuel laughed quietly and carefully picked her up in one weep. "I don't see that being a problem," he said with his grin. He carried her to their bedroom and shut the door with his foot. Sam carefully laid her on the bed and took off her shoes, as well as his.

Yasmina sighed with happiness as he laid her down on the bed. After he took off their shoes, she reached up and pulled him down next to her. She kissed him deeply, twisting her fingers in his hair. Slowly, her hands wandered downward and began to unbutton his shirt. (We'll have to end this one soon... )

Samuel reached down and helped her unbutton his shirt. After that, he unbutton hers as well. He leaned down and kissed her again, and when he came up for air, he murmured nearly inaudibly the three words he always avoided, I love you. Sam let his hands wander her body freely.......
The next morning, Samuel woke up to have Yasmina on his arm. He smiled gently at her sleeping form. He replayed the events in his head of yesterday. He smiled again. Last night, she always kept him busy, but he had also said the words that he avoided like poison. Samuel shook his head slightly. What had gotten into him?

Yasmina could have screamed with happiness when she heard him whisper the words she had so been longing to hear. It was all she could think about the rest of the night, even as every other thought was chased out of her mind by the feeling of his hands on her.
The next morning, she lay peacefully in his arms, still in a drowsy, half-sleeping state. She snuggled closer to him, enjoying the feel of his arms around her. But as her mind started to come awake again, a horrible thought occurred to her: Had he only said he loved her because of the love potion? Was he just feeling the effects of the potion when he said those words? The explanation for the potion had said it was supposed to build on existing feelings and make everything more intense. It wasn't supposed to make someone feel something that they didn't feel already. But what if she had done it wrong? Or given him too much? Or it mixed funny with the ingredients of the drink? What if he didn't really love her at all? The thought terrified her. She would do anything for Samuel; anything at all. But would he do the same? Or would he just go back to looking at the other girls when her back was turned? She shuddered in anger at the thought.

Samuel felt Yasmina snuggle closer to him, and he gave a light smile. Yesterday, he felt different. Not in a completely different way, it was just that he was more open with what he felt than normal. Although, he couldn't say that he didn't like it, but yet he wasn't one to be open with his feelings. He said the words that he felt, but he didn't mean too. He never used those words, not even to his parents, but yet, he found himself saying them last night. Samuel reached a hand up and scratched his head. She knew what he had said, and right now, he didn't care. She finally knew it after eight months. He, however, would probably never use those words again, but he was relieved that she did know.
