Lorelei is a serious person. She always took school seriously, and she takes her job very seriously, as well. She does allow herself some time for fun and enjoys being around her family and friends, whether it be sitting at home or going out for dinner. And Merlin help her if some of her girl friends and her go shopping; if she sees a pair of boots she wants, she will buy them and worry about the price later. She normally wears muggle clothing while at home, and spends time with some of her muggle friends. She doesn’t see a problem with being friends with them; she does, however, keep the wizarding world a secret the best she can, since she wouldn’t know how to begin explaining it to them.
Lorelei very honest, which could be seen as a good or bad thing; she will only hold back on the truth if she thinks it will hurt you greatly. She hates lying to people, and sometimes has trouble deciding when she should tell a white lie to protect someone. When her friends aren’t upset with her for her honesty, Lorelei is the one they go to if they need someone to hear their problems out. She is always willing to listen and provide advice, if she can.
She is very punctual, being on time for meetings and work almost all of the time. Those times she is late, however, she probably overslept. Her assignments are always turned in on time, and she is usually at the office ten minutes early, just in case something comes up that she will be needed for.
Lorelei is a dreamer. She imagines a world where everyone, magical and non, can get along and love each other. She knows it is a silly thing to wish for, but if she ever spaces out it is due to thinking about what the world would be like if everyone understood each other and got along. She sees the world as “broken” and wants to fix it, even if that means taking on more problems than she can handle. Whenever something goes wrong she is the first person she places the blame on, even if she had nothing to do with the problem.

History:
Lorelei was always a happy person, even from the beginning of her life. She was always smiling and following her parents around everywhere from the moment she could crawl. She had attachment issues whenever her parents would leave her alone with a family friend or babysitter; she’d cry and refuse to listen to anyone else until her parents came back. When Isla came along three years later, she was jealous of her, since she was getting attention from their parents that was usually reserved for her. In time, however, she got used to having a younger sister. When Lorelei was about six, she told her parents she would be the best sister and lead a good life for her sister to follow.
When Lorelei was seven, she first began showing signs of being magical. She would sit in the backyard and make the flowers dance. She didn’t know what was happening, but she liked it and would make them dance around the kids in the neighborhood. When they started getting scared of her for her ability to do that, Lorelei began spending more and more time inside. She began to read a lot more, first starting off with muggle stories and fairytales, and falling in love with the idea of “happily ever after” and a seemingly perfect world after the bad guy was defeated. Her parents began questioning why she wasn’t spending as much time with the kids in the neighborhood anymore, and she told them about her trick with the flowers after much prodding; she was slightly embarrassed, and worried something was wrong with her. She was quite relieved when she was told there was, in fact, nothing wrong with her at all.
She went to Hogwarts when she was 11 and was sorted into Ravenclaw, where she developed her need to learn and help people. She stuck up for younger students as she got older, remembering the old muggle tales she read, where the heroes were always sticking up for those who couldn’t stand up for themselves. Lorelei didn’t think it was right for others to bully younger students just for having to stop and ask for directions to their next class; it was a big castle, after all! She kept that helpful nature as she got older, always keeping the idea of the “perfect world” in the back of her mind, as well. While in school , she excelled in charms and muggle studies, and was fascinated by all the magical creatures she learned about. She wasn’t too good at potions or divination, but was lucky enough to just get by.
Out of all the friends she had while growing up, the little boy who didn’t run away in fear at her flower trick remained her best friend. She spent as much time with him as possible during summer, each of them swapping stories about their time at school. Lorelei learned early on that much of what she was learning didn’t apply to the muggle world, and so she had to learn what kinds of things he would understand. She mainly told him of astronomy and muggle studies, where they both had a good laugh about what the wizarding world thought the muggle world was like. She tried introducing him to some of her friends from Hogwarts, but it didn’t work too well; her friends weren’t too interested in his stories like Lorelei was.
After graduating, Lorelei got a job working in the Ministry.
Anything else? I’ll update her profession once I find an area of the Ministry for her to work at. I didn’t want to wait any longer to post her, lol.
