Character Name: Alyxandria “Alyx” Rye
Year: 5th
Preferred House (you may not get it, unless you are a canon character):Gryffindor
Strengths: She’s brave and honest. Magically her strengths are Charms and Transfiguration. She likes DADA. She’s quite skilled at stealing things, playing pranks and getting out of trouble. Before she was acquainted with magic and the world it offered she could hotwire a car, but she couldn’t read which says a lot about her life in the foster care program, but she’s intelligent, she’s very intelligent and hardworking, she doesn’t believe anything comes without a price.
Weaknesses: She doesn’t trust people. Magically potions and divination-like subjects are her downfalls. She’s hard headed, quick to anger, stubborn, and very prideful. She’s a scamp and she knows that others look down on her because of it.
Personality: She doesn’t care what you think about her, at least that’s what she says, but words hurt more than actions sometimes. She knows she’s alone in the world and it terrifies her but she does what she can to put on a happy face and succeed. She can bite off more than she can chew, but give her time and watch her swallow the whole damned thing.
Brief History:Raised in the foster system she had no clue what magic was or that there even was a world of wizardry. She was born in the City of Rye in New York which is how she got her last name Rye. Strangely it was one of the more prominent cities. That wasn’t all, there was more to the mystery of her birth as she was laid at someone’s doorstep and that person then took her to the hospital. Some Social worker gave her the name Alyxandria which suited her she supposed. As she was passed from house to house she became sick often as a child and didn’t get to attend school, but her teachers passed her because they thought she was a sweet child. Sweet until she was nearly eight years old and couldn’t read, by then she had started skipping classes and raising what hell she could as a little girl which was surprisingly much. She learned how to commit the perfect five finger discount when she was nine, and how to hot wire a car when she was eleven, not that she could drive it, that wasn’t the point. She could have gone a long way into crime if it hadn’t been for a letter she got at eleven years old that changed her life forever…
