[Lucius Malfoy]

Lucius sent a message to his Lord by Owl, concerning the possibility of setting up a meeting between him and the new recruit, Zane Larkin. He told him briefly of their meeting and of the bravado that Zane had shown. Satisfied that he had done all that he could, Lucius waited for a reply.

[Lord Voldemort]

Voldemort was pleased indeed. Lucius Malfoy was an excellent addition to his ranks. Voldemort would wait and see about his judgment of new members. he sent his reply back quickly. stating he would meet them in the following evening in the sitting room.

Lucius received the reply back from Voldemort, and sent an owl to Zane, informing him of the meeting. He told him he would meet him at the Hog's Head, and they would apparate to the headquarters from there.

[Lord Voldemort]

Time passed and Voldemort walked into his sitting room, he lit a warm fire in the grate and waved a hand carelessly at the wet nurse he had let out of her room, the woman was looking pale and had dark circles under her eyes, the child in her arms fretted, but weakly. He smiled at his cruelty. The child was hard pressed to enjoy it's captivity.

Lucius brought Zane into the headquarters. "Follow me," he said. "The Dark Lord is expecting us in his chambers." He led him up the stairs and down a long corridor toward the area where Voldemort frequently stayed. As he walked, he thought he heard the sound of a baby crying, but dismissed it immediately. "Here we are," he said, stopping before a door. He gave a firm, rhythmic knock and waited for his Lord's response.

[Lord Voldemort]

"Enter Lucius." Said the dark lord he turned toward the nurse and child "Leave, and make sure the child is as content as it can be." he said smiling cruelly as he knew it was an impossible task for such an unhappy child. The nurse straightened her back and walked out of the room quietly with the child, opening the door before Lucius could, and leaving with the child back to the room.

Lucius gazed at the woman and the infant in her arms with cool disinterest. As the woman passed him, he looked beyond her into the room where his master stood, awaiting his arrival with his new recruit. He swept into the room dramatically and approached the Dark Lord. "My Lord," he said bowing. "I bring to you Zane Larkin, who is desirous of joining your glorious ranks."

[Lord Voldemort]

"Really now, would this boy know what you already do?" he asked steeping his fingers together. "Bring him in." he said waving them in disinterestedly.

[Zane Manning]

Zane slowly walked into the large room, watching curiously as the old nurse and the small child quickly left. Zane wandered up to where the Dark Lord was seated, glancing at his surroundings with mild interest, and swiftly bowed down before him. "It is of my utmost pleasure, my Lord."

[Lucius Malfoy]

Lucius straightened up from his bow. "My Lord, should I go now? Or do you wish me to stay while you talk to this new recruit?" He glanced at Zane quickly, then back at the Dark Lord.
